Ok, let me get this straight.
Austin and Nick were in a great position. The young chicks and the old dudes both wanted to work with them. Both sides then come to them and want Ruth Marie out due to Ruth Marie being a useless undead twig.
What would you do in this situation? Seems obvious, right? Well, let's ask Austin...
"I know! Instead of booting the most useless memeber of the tribe AND keeping everyone happy with me, I'll suggest we boot the hottest chick out there! That gets rid of my pesky swing vote status AND the eye candy! Plus, now Ruth Marie is potentially a swing vote in the future and I'm SURE she'll side with us young idiot guys over those in her age group. I'M SO SMART!"
Can you tell MW is just a bit bitter about the horrible direction this show has taken?
It's not just my missing Misty's beautiful eyes, it's the game of Survivor itself. Having a hidden immunity idol? Good twist. Allowing the idol to presented after voting has taken place? Potentially a great dramatic twist! Having the game work so the immunity idol can be used AFTER THE VOTES ARE READ? Incredibly stupid!
So now survivors can get blindsided by a vote and still be ok! All that strategy on when to use the idol is gone. You just get to sit back and know you can't be voted out! Strategic!
Just a warning, folks. MW might decided to stop watching Survivor and start updating randomly based on what he reads in the forums. I can only see so many sharks jumped before the laugher stops and the crying begins.
