just gathering some team spoilers /sightings
anyone have anything to add please do so ..... :waves:

I have it on good authority (I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you) that Rome, Italy is on the roster for TAR9.

When they reach Rome, there will be nine teams remaining. There will be a task (not sure if it's a detour or a roadblock) where the racers have to put together a disassembled faux-Roman statue
UPDATE
based on the titles there maybe 8 teams left at this point being that EP4 is a non-elim

Bianca posted @ sucks on Nov 24th
Take this FWIW - I was talking to someone who saw TAR being filmed in Perth, and they said they saw an old couple walking around Fremantle with a cameraman, sound guy etc. They speculate they were around 50-60yrs old. They think it was a male/female couple or possibly male/male (they aren't completely sure, as they only got a glimpse of them). They couldn't remember what clothes/colours they were wearing

Franknberry? this would place this team sighting somewhere around Nov 23rd

Lazarus, a retired urologist and graduate in the class of '64, and his wife dove from an airplane, bungee-jumped, and scaled buildings in their attempt to beat 11 other couples in the 30-day race across five continents. Although the race is finished, the results are top secret until revealed on television in the course of the season.

from this link
A team was later spotted in Adelaide on Nov. 27 on their way to Sydney. The team, “young, good-looking Americans carrying only backpacks, with a TV crew filming their every move,” was spotted at the airport in Adelaide “attempt[ing] to book a capacity Singapore Airlines flight,” according to The Advertiser. “They had boarding passes for a flight to Sydney, and after being told the Singapore Airlines flight was full, they ran back to the domestic terminal….”

insert young good looking Americans here

Okay, I have lurked on this board for a few years and this is my first attempt at a spoiler.
My brother in law works for Alaska Airlines in Anchorage, and about half an hour ago he saw 2 guys go running through the airport with a camera guy and a sound guy following them. The only description I could get out of him was that they were 2 dudes dressed alike in matching gray sweaters and blue Adidas shoes, mid 20's, and they were looking for Northwest Airlines. They spoke to a native Alaska woman in her 50's who also works there and said they were headed to Denver. They went first to Northwest counter, then Continental, then back to Alaska Airlines.

**sorry about the half-an-hour ago vagueness, it was actually about 5:30pm Alaska time on Friday night**

erics/jeremys  blue adida's sneakers ? Alaska spoiler .

this forum has some spoilers , no idea who their source is to take it for what its worth

Eric and Jeremy were spotted in Alaska. Alaska is the final destination before returning to American (the finish line) therefore, they are one third of the Final 3
.

BJ and Tyler are Eliminated Early in the Competition.

The Nerds, David and Lori, make it too Russia. So they will be around at least till Episode 6.

I can confirm that AR have been sited in Perth Western Australia in November, a friend works at the airport. There were about 4 teams noticed by staff. One of those teams has been given a fine because they had concealed food on them, they were trying to take chicken sandwiches off the airoplane.
Another team ( that had no money) was reprimanded for pushing to the front of the lines in customs.

almost forgot this one
from Datalounge

Eric and Jeremy Win the New Amazing Race

this quote fron the TV Guide Article ~
"This one also has a lot of good laughs and some sexual tension, more than ever," van Munster says. "There's some stuff going on between the teams" which, he hints, could involve best friends Danielle Torchio and Danielle Turner, a pair of recent college grads from Staten Island. Among the other teams van Munster suggests keeping an eye on: "The older couple," retired MASH surgeon Barry Lazarus and his wife, Fran; Mississippi dentist Lake Garner and his wife and assistant, Michelle; and best friends tutor BJ Averell of Los Angeles and filmmaker Tyler MacNiven from San Francisco

Hi all, I'm the person that had the info on the alaska sighting a while ago. Got some more info from my brother in law who finally watched his tapes of the show this morning, he is pretty sure the guys he saw at the airport were the hippie dudes. I laughed, because all this time I had been assuming by his original description that it was the frat boys. I said "You told me they were young and good looking", and he said, "well, they are",

Thanks Puddin.

I suppose it'll be made official by the end of the week (similar to the time in which TAR8 was made official).  Either that, or within a week after the premiere (a la TAR7).  But as you mentioned earlier, Double Dee so far has the Chip/Kim and Uchenna/Joyce edit, so it should be interesting to see how everything plays out.

Werent all the betting spoilers becuase of irregular patterns not becuse they had the best odds, i think this is just odds not really a spoiler.  Jenna M had i think 25-1 odds to win Survivor and she won.   I think we have to wait until the sight shuts down the AR betting becuase of irregular patternes before its a spoiler like all the other times.

The odds may favour two more experienced travelling duos but PlayersOnly.com players have remained true to form by putting their money on two sexy, blonde sisters.

Current “smart money” betting favours the young and athletic Ray and Yolanda at 7-2, along with Barry & Fran (5-1) who have been travelling the world together for forty years. Nevertheless, PlayersOnly.com punters are putting their money on Danielle & Dani , two attractive but inexperienced travellers, who are relative long shots in the contest at 7-1.

“It wouldn’t be much fun if we all bet on the obvious favourites now, would it?” commented PlayersOnly.com Manager, Tim Williams. “I guess our players figure a pretty face and a tight pink t-shirt could come in handy in this race!”

In it’s ninth season, Amazing Race returns to its original format after an experiment with families racing against each other last time out. It’s back to teams of two racing around the world, never knowing where they'll go next or what they'll have to do once there. The eleven teams will be asked to perform various duties while they travel around the world. Those who can't keep up with the quick pace will be eliminated from the competition as the weeks go by until just one team remains.

“The odds will change every week as teams are eliminated,” said Williams. “A smart bet early in the game – that’s how to clear some coin on this.”

Current Odds on the 9th Amazing Race:

Ray & Yolanda: 7-2

BJ & Tyler: 4-1

Fran & Barry: 5-1

Danielle & Dani: 7-1

David & Lori: 8-1

Jeremy & Eric: 11-5

John & Scott: 6-1

Joseph & Monica: 8-1

Lake & Michelle: 7-1

Lisa & Joni: 10-1

Wanda & Desiree: 6-1

Even before the report comes out (if it does), I have to say it's Danielle/Dani.  Pre-show, the PlayersOnly said that they're putting their money on the underdog, but out of all other teams, why Double Dee?  Also, as mentioned, D/D have been getting the Chip/Kim and Uchenna/Joyce edit.

In addition, and pretty important to me, Danielle and Danielle were introduced second in the opening montage.  For the fear that CBS would actually see me make that theory here (and alter the opening montage), I didn't want to say anything yet.

It's a pretty fair-long shot, but I haven't seen anyone make mention to that anywhere!  From TAR3-TAR5, all three winners were introduced 4th.  So far, the past two winners were the second team introduced.  To add to this, there has been a pattern on the next eliminated team for the past two races, up until people start noticing it, or until TAR is down to five teams, whichever comes first, I guess.

Given that, I strongly think that if/when the report of the leak surfaces, it'll indicate an irregular pattern of multiple maximum bets in favor of Danielle/Dani.  From coincidential patterns of the eliminated team and the winners based on when they were introduced in the opening, I can't really say that there isn't a coincidence here with Double Dee.  We'll see, but that just my opinion.

The past two winners [Uchenna and Joyce, and Linz Family ill even put in Fred and Kendra].  Now i forgot about Linz but FK were on the last boat introduced 9th, and UJ were introuduced in the last helicopter i think 9th or 8th but not forth.
Ar7- Lynn and Alex [5th Place]
Ar6- Lena and Kristy [9th Place]
ar5- Kami and Karli [5th Place]
Thats all i could remember of the second team introduced.   5th place is standing out to me, but i really dont think the intro has effect i think its just random.

Actually, I was referring to the opening credits, but not the introductions prior to the starting line.  However, something I almost forgot, the last person to speak before the opening credits.  While there has been a pattern from the opening credits, the team shown last has won 7 out of the past 8 races.

Another theory: I read the "What We Know/What We Don't Know thread" and upon reading the order of introductions, Joseph/Monica were second.  There's a chance that this could have been modified from the preview edition of EP1 and the real EP2, and that Joseph/Monica were (originally) supposed to be the second team introduced in the opening credits, not Danielle/Dani.

But back to the soundbyte issue.  As I've noticed, has been mentioned, and what I remember myself, the person or team to have the final word after they're off usually wins (The only time this hasn't happened was for TAR5 with Kami/Karli).  The team that was shown last and said something last during the first episode?  Joseph/Monica.  IIRC, Monica was excited, and was all like, "WOOHOO!!!"  Although when the soundbyte factor didn't come into play, it was the same season where Chip/Kim were the third straight winners that were introduced 4th.  So, without anymore knowledge, and with a gut feeling, Double Dee could be the winners after all.

That being said, I'm glad I didn't bet on Danielle/Dani just yet.  I think Joseph/Monica have a better chance than Danielle/Dani now (with Eric/Jeremy the third team that's slated to win).  Plus, "MoJo" seem like a pretty strong enough team to win.

Oh sorry then.  My gut actaully tells me MoJO doesnt win, her edit seems to be a bit naggy, seem to me like Brandon and Nicole [6th place in Leg 1 simmular].

Puddin, can you explain what the numbers stand for after their name.  In other words what does it mean for BJ and Tyler to have 3/2?  Is this good?  Thanks.

If you bet $2 on BJ and Tyler, and they win, you will get $3.  From that same sheet, if you bet $1 on Dave and Lori, you'll get $15.

3/2 is a good bet to win , you get 3$ for every 2$ you bet .
7/2 is second with 3/1 third then the rest follow .

Thanks Puddin.  I knew you would have the answer.  Are you going to bet?
