Podcast with Wally Bransen
« on: December 20, 2005, 09:49:00 AM »
Trevor, Rob:  That was the first podcast of any type I have ever listened to and you two did a first rate job.  Wally was a great guest and the resulting interview was better than any interview I have heard from any radio DJ.

Just a couple of highlights:

Walter discussing a Belize leg possibly being canceled due to a hurricane.

Wally volunteering his opinion on how much he enjoyed reading Chateau and G'Man's 11th team conspiracy theory. ]][

Thank you as well!  Wally is a great guy and that was an absolute blast.

It was great that Walter did the interview.  His family were one of my favorite teams.

My only regret watching them is that until the last episode I didn't know which daughter was Lauren and which one was Lindsay.  Visually, I could tell them apart but thought of them as #2 and #3 daughters.  But finally during the last episode I came up with a simple mnemonic; a comes before i, so Lauren comes before Lindsay and is the older of the two.

I find mnemonics to be helpful.  They would have helped Linda Weaver know that Lake Pontchartrain is not a Great Lake because P is not in HOMES.   :winkC:

I don't know if I'd be much help.  I will at least be lurking about to see how you all are getting on.

wally is so much like my dad and he's got three great daughters. (he even sound like him as we're originally from michigan.) what's not to like? you looked like you at least had some fun and family time. too bad you're not old enough to be my dad.

i was so thrilled at the final 2 teams. i wish they both could have won.

welcome to our forum wally. justwatch out for puddin', she's way too much fun.

The show would not have been the same without The Bransens , they we're the team that everyone was rooting for , and Wally , your too funny @ the Erma hotel in Cody “we can use this photo as our Christmas card” , lol that was one of the many funny quotes that I remember .
The most emotional was at the finale at the finish line  "These are great ladies...they proved so much to me. Adults need to spend time and share experiences with their children."  }bH{
Now thats something  ! your one lucky man Wally , you have a beautiful family and they have one heck of a dad & hubby  {| .

TAR8Vet,  plain and simple.  It seemed that participating in our favorite TV show was an enriching and rewarding experience for you and your daughters.  Well done.

Merry Christmas to you and all RFF detectives.  I'm out of the net for a week.
