Those dancers sure LOOK Russian to me. They are without a doubt Eastern European, and it seems unlikely (to me at least) that they'd throw another leg into eastern Europe...
Some other thoughts & a revised route map with confirmed/conjectured dates added...
EP1: Denver (Red Rocks Amphitheatre) (11/7) to Ottawa, Canada
EP2: Ottawa to Sao Paulo, Brazil (bridge, airstrips, yellow helicopter)
EP3: Sao Paulo to Segesta, (Sicily) Italy (ruins)
EP4: Segesta to Corinth, Greece (diving into canal)
EP5: Corinth to Moscow, Russia (St. Basil’s, ballet)
EP6: Moscow to India (elephants)
EP7: India to Perth/Rottnest, Australia (11/24) (newspaper)
EP8a: Perth/Rottnest to Darwin (11/25) (newspaper/sighting) TBC
EP8b: Darwin to Adelaide (11/26) to Lopburi, Thailand (masks, monkeys, Buddha)
EP9: Lopburi (11/27-28??) to Tokyo (11/29-30??) (shopping district, Mt. Fuji)
EP10: Tokyo to Anchorage (12/1) (sighting, red plane)
EP11: Anchorage (12/2) to Denver (12/3)
We may be missing a location or two in the beginning somewhere (11/7-11/24) – the dates don’t add up. Flights will chew up some days, but not enough to cover 17 days between Denver and Perth/Rottnest. Maybe a couple episodes in India like they've done before. A while back, there was a spoiler about going from Denver to Ottawa? (Puddin from OC Register 12/5) This would add a lot of mileage, which would make sense. No connections thru Ottawa to Sao Paolo, right? So they couldn’t have flown from Denver to Sao Paulo thru Ottawa. I toyed with idea of westward trip around globe, but timing doesn’t make sense. Post in Spoilers yesterday mentioned the desperate couple in the Adelaide airport trying to get to Singapore. When they didn’t, they used their previously booked flight to Sydney. Makes me think they were just trying to connect to Lopburi or elsewhere in Thailand (via Singapore OR Sydney) instead of going to Singapore as a destination, so I’ve taken Singapore out of the route map. Must have just been a faster flight going through Singapore. This would certainly be a grueling race (like TAR1) like Phil described in the interview – it is ALL over the map.
