Episode 2.23: Live Together, Die Alone (2-hour season finale) (Desmond-centric)
Airdate: May 24, 2006 from 9 to 11 p.m.

    * 04/19 - The two-hour finale is basically one big Desmond flashback. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
    * 04/18 - [Quite spoilery, highlight at your own risk... In flashback that is set in 2000 in L.A., Libby buys Desmond coffee and offers him her boat. Charlie and Eko enter the hatch to get dynamite. Rose and Locke have a chat. Later in the episode, we see Desmond lying on the beach shore, waking up, being carried to the hatch, and Desmond and Kelvin walking through the jungle. While in prison (not sure if it's on island or flashback), Widmore tells Desmond off. There will be one scene of Desmond in the stadium. Dr. Candle will appear.]

# 04/18 - The episode will feature Gregg, an athletic stockbroker type who loves his job and the company that employs him.  Source: SpoilerFix.com
# 04/15 - The episode will feature two foreign computer technicans working in a remote drilling station. Source: SpoilerFix.com
# 04/11 - Guest stars for season finale: Cameron, British (Rupert Murdochish) 50, rich steel tycoon, ruthless, competitive, protective of his daughter; Penelope, late 20's, beautiful, strong, daughter of Cameron, wants a simple life, to fall in love and start a family. Though she has no interest in her family's money she eventually uses it to get what she wants. Source: SecretAgentMan at TWoP
# 04/05 - We'll see Vincent in the finale. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

Thanks for the info. Oddly enough, I don't mind spoilers on some TV shows. Mostly it's reality TV that I don't like spoilers on.

Play the Lost game

Interactive Web game will feature a parallel storyline not seen on the hit series.

ABC has announced plans to launch a massive interactive game based on its hit series Lost.
The network says The Lost Experience will be the largest interactive game ever based on a TV show.

Experience will feature a storyline different from the one seen in the show.
Users will have to watch the show to collect phone numbers and other information to use in the game.
The game itself will feature new characters and background on the Hanso Foundation,
the mysterious group behind the Dharma Initiative.

"The game reaches back into Lost history and looks forward to future episodes,"
said Mike Benson, senior vice president of marketing for ABC Entertainment. "
It's like a giant, worldwide, mysterious jigsaw puzzle that will come to life for all the world to solve."

ABC hopes the game appeals to "Losties" and non-fans alike.

"We wanted to make it so that if you watched Lost from the beginning or if
you've never watched the show before you can get into this," Benson added.

The network is teaming up with 19 other media outlets to bring
Experience to continents the world over. Each part of the world will receive different clues.

The first clue will air in an episode of Lost scheduled for May 3.

 :umn:

so i was rewatching the Hurley episode (most recent) and Libby made a comment that the washer/dryer looked newer than all the other appliances. did anyone catch this as well?

this points to the a general timeline since they have never said what year it was.

I never gave it any thought either...I'm not sure if it
was in one of the podcast or not but they did say that
just because the show started in 2004 does not mean thats
the timeline that for the plane crash. Nice catch Cole.

Maybe there's a way to find out the timeline somehow.

Thanks BRL. This season I also vaguely remember a reference to a political event but the washer/dryer didn't come out until like two years ago...hmmmmm....

from Lost-media.com ( swiped from sucks )

"Live Together, Die Alone" - After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront "The Others" and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the "button" and the hatch, on the season finale of "Lost," WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
