.....shouldn't you just be happy you are getting paid..........  In all seriousness, I do agree that reality TV writers should get paid like their counterparts in other TV genres.

Reality TV Show Writers have a different role than let's say a sitcom writer who creates everything from scratch.  On a show like Survivor, you shoot thousands of hours of footage and writers watch the footage and craft a coherent storyline out of it.
