Brooke Struck, A Law Student On Survivor Guatemala
Brooke Struck graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California with a J.D. degree in May of 2005. It will be interesting to see if Brooke reveals to the other castaways that she is pursuing a career in law since it might lead to them labeling her as someone who doesn’t need the money. Brooke’s educational background is very impressive.
Brooke graduated from Oregon State University with honors in Political Science and International Studies. She also had a minor in Spanish and volunteered for a year in AmeriCorps after graduation. Besides twins, models, and pro-football players, another theme of Survivor Gautemala seems to be educated students. Joining Brooke Struck in the student category are ivy leaguers Brian Corridan and Rafe Judkins.
In addition to being highly intelligent, Brooke Struck is also very athletic. According to her CBS Bio, she grew up on a farm and frequently went hiking, camping, and backpacking. Brooke’s father passed away when she was eleven and her hero is her mom, who ran the farm and raised three young children. In the Hood River News, Brooke’s mom is quoted as describing her daughter as “very positive, very intelligent, and very good at problem solving” and also credit her with having “pioneer blood.”
