Members of the public may vote via text messaging beginning 8/4/05, between 8-9 p.m. Eastern Time and ending 8/10/05, 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Certain restrictions on voting may apply. CBS is not responsible for technical or other malfunctions, such as text message non-delivery. In the event of electronic or other failure, voting may be suspended. Wireless customers will be charged $0.49 per text message plus applicable taxes. Text voting is open to most wireless carrier customers. On some carriers, a free wallpaper download may be offered, which is subject to a nominal WAP browsing charge by phone carrier. All decisions by CBS regarding the vote and the results are final and not subject to challenge or appeal

WARNING!

Be careful if using the back button on your browser to vote for kaysar or michael, when you hit back after voting to re-vote it switches to Eric's name as your choice! I think that the webmonkeys might be up to something....eric was a pain, but probably good for ratings.

Make sure that you chose the person you WANTED to vote for each time you vote!

I haven't had that problem. I hit the back button several times and none of the names are marked after voting for Kaysar, so maybe its just your web browser or something.

Dont use the back button to revote }} . It won't count ! You have to reopen a newpage evertime or your wasting your time . Use my sig , i'm easy to find {l{

Multiple votes not permitted for America’s Choice

Multiple votes for the Big Brother 6 America’s Choice question will not be permitted, reality blurred just learned.

Since Julie Chen revealed the stunning, game-changing America’s Choice question last night, viewers have been wondering if they can vote more than once for Kaysar, Michael, or Eric. And the answer from CBS is that multiple votes are not allowed.

Besides this site, plenty of other sites (among them, TVgasm and TVSquad) are campaigning for Kaysar to return. But now we know that voting often, as both sites encourage, will not have an effect, and could possibly hurt your candidate’s chances.

Some have already noted that CBS already has the right to do whatever it wants with the voting. A disclaimer on the voting page says,

All decisions by CBS regarding the vote and the results are final and not subject to challenge or appeal.

Update: Reportedly, Marcellas said on CBS’ House Calls program today that multiple votes are permitted, so apparently somewhere inside the CBS machine, the wires have not yet been straightened out. The episode is not yet online, however.

Well, if we can't vote multiple times, why didn't JULIE CHEN tell us last nite?? Or, on the commercial about it...seems to me they would say ONLY ONE VOTE ALLOWED...or somethun like that! =]/
I looked all over the voting site and find NO rules. I've visited several sites today that says we can vote more than once. Hmmm...but if CBS just goofed up in telling us, I hope our multiple votes won't mess up the process! |(

A little bit of info for all concerned about why CBS isn't posting the standings on the America's Choice.....if you were a fan of Kaysar and you looked on the site and saw that he was falling behind, woudn't that be incentive to vote more? In keeping the current votes secret, it stops people from being influenced by the standings. As things stand now, people are going to vote because they were going to vote, not because their fave is losing. :headhunter: - vodoo dance to ward off all fans of eric

Great point, Texan. Yeah, maybe the Eric fans started a rumor, huh? We'll probably never know, but I'm still voting for Kaysar MANY times...just in case Multiple vote DO count!! =]/

Okay after reading the live feeds I am back to voting for Kaysar today. I want him back in the house to win so no one else does. I ll be honest with you all I only voted for Eric once yesterday. That is the only time I have voted for him. Kasyar has to win, so I am going to vote all day long.
