Something happened between the two doors. He was fine when he left the house, but when he came out the 2nd set of doors, he was holding his hand. Maybe it happened in the house and we didn't see it!

No seriously, I think he may've got his fingers smashed in the door as he was leaving the house.  I replayed the tape and he seemed OK before he went out the 1st door.  As he walked out the 2nd door, he was holding his hand.
