OTTAWA -- A gay Ottawa couple from the reality TV show The Amazing Race will exchange vows Wednesday morning.

Lynn Warren and Alex Ali picked up their marriage licence at Ottawa City Hall Tuesday.

They then picked out their diamond and platinum wedding bands.

Both rings are to be engraved with the word: Amazing.

About 400 guests will attend the ceremony -- including several contestants from the show.

They include Race winners Joyce and Uchenna Agu, and fellow contestants Gretchen Smith, Bianca Smith and Debbie Cloyd, and mother-and-son team Patrick and Susan Vaughn.

I am happy that Lynn and Alex were able to tie the know in Canada.  I saw a small segment on either Access Hollywood or one of those entertainment shows about their wedding.  It showed Susan and Patrick, Debbie/Bianca talking about how great that Canada accepts them.  Does that mean Debbie and Bianca are also gay?

"Not that there's anything wrong with it."   (*(

I think the spec about Debbie and Bianca was more wishful thinking than reality.  They are self-described "best friends" since childhood, so I can imagine the bond between them is stronger than many people can understand or appreciate.
