Press-Gazette
WFRV, Channel 5, will be holding an Open Casting Call for the CBS hit shows “Survivor” and “Amazing Race.” The taping will be held on June 8 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., at The Bar East, 606 Lime Kiln Road, Green Bay.
Persons wishing to audition should download an application form from wfrv.com and bring it to the casting call. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and be citizens of the United States.
Production crews from WFRV, Channel 5, will be on hand to videotape the auditions, which will have no pre-set questions. Applicants will be given two minutes to say or do anything they want to try to convince the show’s casting director why they should be chosen to be included on the next “Survivor” or “Amazing Race” series.
The “Amazing Race” applicants will be shot in teams of two. Talk about yourself, talk about your family, talk about your job, talk about why you believe you should be chosen.
The casting staff in Los Angeles will screen all the audition tapes. Persons making it through the second round will be asked to travel to Los Angeles in September for a final audition. If chosen to appear on either show, applicants would need to be available for the actual taping which is scheduled between late-October and December 2005.
The items needed at the “The Bar East Open Casting Call” are:
• Completed application form (Including the signed release and waiver.) These forms are located on wfrv.com.
• Copy of a valid US passport or proof of citizenship. (A copy of your drivers license and social security card will do.)
• A passport-size photo of each contestant (both shows) plus a group picture of teams auditioning for “Amazing Race” together
