Probably means a double leg (which replaces the NEL) so its like a NEL without a pitstop.

I can only assume that they would only dump ONE team this episode. Most likely on the 6th leg. I assume leg 5 is Non-elim. Is there a reason for this though? Maybe drama later in the race? or a chance to automatically see the new NEL rules in effect?

Something with a lot of G-force - maybe a simulator (I keep thinking of that simulator Homer went on in the Simpsons when he was trying to go into space). Or bungy jumping or sky diving.

Putting a team through G-Forces could certainly change your face. In England and only about 25 miles from central London, out past Heathrow Airport and Windsor Castle you will find the Royal Aircraft Establishment in Farnborough. Here at the Institute of Aviation Medicine is located a large Centrifuge which the Royal Airforce uses to train pilots to withstand up to 8 to 10 G's or forces of gravity. Perhaps this is where TAR would be going to realy put our teams to the test. And certainly do some face lifting! or sagging as the case may be.

Traegen's reference to G-forces and the fact that we all believe the next leg will be in and around merry ole Londontown got me to remembering days gone by. In 1958 I was working on a film for the BBC about space travel and we visited Farnborough and the Institute of Aviation Medicine. The centrifuge is awesome to ride, but not life threatening. Certainly no more dangerous than paragliding or jumping out of airplanes so I imagine that TAR could very well visit Franborough and it would lead credence to the expression about wanting a face lift for a very long time. Can't wait to see Rob or Amber on the centrifuge!!!!

Yes, I think I am well-travelled since I have spent a lifetime cruising the world producing documentary films for the USGovernment, but alas compared to me Don and Meredith are a couple of sping chickens. I would have loved to take part in TAR if it had been produced 20 years ago when I was a mere 57!

During a challenge, one Racer falls down a cave and comes up covered in blood from a gash on the head. Will that Team be able to race to the Pit Stop?

When two Teams race for the first Fast Forward of the Race, both their balance and their fear of heights are tested. Will either of them win the pass?
Has to be Deana & Ray and ??

Teams get emotional after a visit to a local orphanage, which many describe as the best moment of the Race.
Urchenna & Joyce

An intense drive ends with one Team getting into a horrible car accident. Will they recover and stay in the Race?

That's not a gorge Deana is walking over, it is across the top of the cooling tower in South Africa!!! (Scene matches one from opening montage). So the first FF, Deana and Ray but who else? They were sixth at the pit stop in La Martina, but if the teams are flying to Johannesburg, SA from Buenos Aires I expect we will see a major bunching of all teams once again.

I do not think that London is on the itinerary (nor Turkey). The producers are getting smart and including recycled and misleading shots of the world in their opening. Since Rob and Amber won a trip to London, I don't believe the teams will be going there during this race. The same was true, I think, in TAR5 when they kept including a shot of the Eifle Tower in Paris in the opening montage, but the teams never went there but one of the teams won a trip there as a first-place bonus.

If the spoiler from South Africa is correct, the two-hour, two-leg episode next week will cover South Africa and Botswanna. The teams then fly to India. So the trips to Melbourne and Hobart may indeed be correct.

And it looks like the first leg next week will be the first NEL. Which follows other races in which the FF and NEL occur in the same episode.

Hobart and Montreal are classic Claude non-spoilesr, repeated in his different delusional incarnations. If their true, it would be by pure luck (he throws so many names up, one of them will stuck eventually).

They wanted to go to turkey before, and there are a awfull lot of legs to go, so they must go somewhere.

Do they really skip europe and the middle east and spend the rest of the race in Asia and oceania?

I don't think they go to Botswanna in the double leg. I think Botswanna is really leg #7.

Does anybody know where the cave is, is it really in Africa?

If the racers really have to go back to Europe to transfer to Africa, they'd be fools not to run a leg there.

Just because the previews don't show this, doesn't mean they don't go to England. Especially considering how dramatic the previews are.

First, there are flights from Buenos Aires to Johannesburg, South Africa. Most connect through Sao Paulo, Brazil and take a good deal of time best flights leave BA at 10:45AM or 2:45PM and both arrive in SA on the same flight at 6:55AM. Thus they have time to do something in BA and then get to the airport (EZE) for a flight to South Africa. Just checked flights to Johannesburg, but there may be other flights to Cape Town or Pretoria. All three are major entry points to South Africa.

Would they award a trip to London, if the teams were going to London any way? I don't remember any time they have awarded a trip to a city they also went to during the race. The Turkey scenes most likely were recorded during the pre-production for TAR5 before the leg was cancelled, so the producers are just using up material they have on hand. And just to mislead us who like to lay out the itinerary before the race even starts!
