For FORT, it seems their website provider had an horrendous crash and needs to get the site back from backups. That or the site is out of business for good, which would be strange without any warning.

The spear throwing event which x_kicks has as the roadblock AFTER the crash of the Land Rover is not possible since in the spear throwing Brian is wearing his blue short sleeved shirt while in the final crash scene he is wearing white sleeveless shirt. The spear throwing may be part of the Detour which has FEED the lions or HUNT the linons as the two tasks.

Actually, I have thought of that point. The white shirt guy should not be Brian. The white shirt guy seems to be seated on the left hand side of the jeep, so it should be one of the crew member. So the detour, roadblock and the accident happen all in the same day.

It is Brian driving with the while shirt. In one shot you can see his left hand on the wheel and he has the same bead bracelet around his left wrist.

Well, Phil could come back to New-York from just about anywhere in a 36 hour pitstop + 3 day leg.  If south africa's first, then december 3 is would fall during the botwanna leg which is rumoured to be 3 days.

He could do a turnaround from Joburg to NYC in that amount of time.
