When it got down to the last six Eliza didn't have any allies. She was disposable to both sides. They needed her to get rid of Leann and, considering that she would be gone otherwise she did the only thing she could at that point. All she could have done was force a tie IF she had voted with Ami and Julie the next week. I imagine she was asking herself if she was being screwed over again. I know I would have been.

Eliza didn't think it out to the end. She thought about right then, which is what she did the whole game.
