I think these ratings are alright for Ten - it’s a moderate start but relatively on par with the Bachelorette franchise which is well established. Ten like to build a franchise over time so I think this fits well with their brand.

Blink and you might miss some of the incredible locations 'The Amazing Race Australia' contestants are whizzing through on their quest for $250,000.

The competition has kicked off in Seoul, South Korea and -- despite all that running -- we've observed some very tempting reasons to consider booking a flight to the East Asian capital.

Every episode, we'll be slowing things down a bit so you can appreciate some of the roadblock, detour and pitstop locations and imagine yourself taking a leisurely stroll through all the upcoming cities the 'Amazing Race' contestants will visit.

It'll be your regular reminder that jogging, stressful taxi rides, sabotaging your fellow travellers and jumping on the backs of camels are definitely not essential elements of an overseas trip.

We'll be taking note of every historic landmark, foodie hotspot and local activity to save you frantically Googling for that one dumpling place that flashed up on the screen.

Namsan Tower
What better way to gather your bearings in a new city than climbing to its (second) highest point and surveying the stunning combination of nature, urban landscapes and the Han River below?

The first order of business for the 11 'Amazing Race' teams was to make it to the observatory deck of the Namsan Tower, find the red and yellow clue below and grab a postcard from the gift shop matching the location.

If you're planning on heading to Seoul, you can explore the traditional Korean architecture of Namsangol Hanok Village, make your way up the winding stone steps to the tower which offers a stunning view of the Seoul skyline (and the highest bathroom in the land, according to visitseoul.net!).

Where: Namsangol Hanok Village: 28 Toegye-ro 34-gil, Pil-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, Namsan Tower: 105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan 2(i)ga-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Price: About $14 for adults and $11 for kids for tower observatory entry.

Flyboarding On The Han River
If propelling out of a river powered by jets of water didn't scare nuns Judy and Therese, then there's no reason the rest of us shouldn't give it a crack.

While one member of each team had to make it two metres above the Han River before they could proceed to the next challenge, you can take your time to practice loop-de-loops and impressive twirls at the flyboarding amenities in Seoul between May and September.

Where: Jamwong Hangang Park.

Price: About $90 for a 15-minute ride (only during Summer).

Gwangjang Market
Can you even imagine visiting this glorious market and not being able to stop and smell the mandu (Korean dumplings)? During this detour, a few of the pairs had to make 50 of their own dumplings, to the standard expected by a local dumpling master.

With over 5,000 stalls and shops at the Gwangjang Market, you can work your way through a mountain of tasty bindaetteok (mung bean and kimchi pancake), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), sundae (blood sausage), and drink some makgeolli (sparkling rice wine).

Where: 88 Changgyeonggung-ro, Jongno 4(sa)-ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

How Much: A plate of tteokbokki will only set you back about $3-$5.

Sport Stacking!
While half the teams were off folding dumplings (and poor Alana and Niko were circling the city in a cab), the rest of the duos were learning the speedy art of sport stacking.

Host Beau Ryan got to watch female world-record holder Si Eun Kim (above)  work her magic in stacking and dismantling her pile of plastic cups in seconds at the Hanyang University Gym but there are plenty of ways to enjoy cup stacking (like bingeing the mesmerising clips of the sport on YouTube).

It's not a bad idea to familiarise yourself with the only sport to involve juggling drinking vessels because -- for the first time ever -- Sport Stackers will be competing at an Olympic level at the Tokyo 2020 games.

Where: You can check out upcoming tournaments (in Seoul, and globally) on the World Sport Stacking Association website.

The Seoul Skygarden/Seoullo 7017 Bridge
You've climbed to the top of a tower, eaten your bodyweight in mandu and worked up your appetite all over again with a round of cup stacking -- so the Sky Garden provides the perfect, tranquil location to end your day in Seoul.

Seoullo 7017 Bridge was the first pitstop of this season of 'The Amazing Race Australia' and gets its name from the year 1970 (when the overpass was first constructed) and 2017 (when it was turned into a luscious, green pedestrian high line).

The sky garden has 600 varieties of plants and fruit-bearing trees, an art gallery, a foot pool (!) to soak your tootsies on the go, 'Bangbang' trampolines and a host of restaurants.

There's also a delicious looking sandwich shop called Egg Drop nearby, a kiosk that specialises in creamy, fluffy eggs between buttery brioche toast with your choice of toppings.

Where: Hoehyeon Station (subway line 4) exit 3 and, at the other end, Seoul Station (subway lines 1, 4) exits 2, 8.
'The Amazing Race Australia' Airs Mondays And Tuesdays From 7.30 pm, Only On 10 And WIN Network.

The 'Amazing Race' teams have been hunting down clues, flying soccer drones and getting yelled at by drill sergeants in Korea this week.

While the premiere focused on the busy city of Seoul (details here), the teams headed north for a poignant history lesson and time in the wilderness in episode two.

Nuns Judy and Therese were very narrowly the last team to arrive at the pitstop -- but it was mostly because they were so wrapped up in praying at all these beautiful locations, can you blame them?

The Prayer Ribbon Fence At The DMZ
After counting an obscene amount of fountains and digging into their mostly non-existent mathematics skills, the teams set off in a fleet of taxis, towards Korea's Demilitarised Zone -- the 250km long no-man's land that runs between North and South Korea.

The DMZ was established in 1953 following the end of the Korean War and has become a popular tourist destination for those hoping to catch a glimpse of the North and the Kijong-dong or 'Propaganda Village' across the border.

Imjingak Park, on the banks of the Imjin River, is home to a closed-off railway bridge that now sports thousands of colourful ribbons bearing messages of hope, love and dreams of unification.

Cost: About $65 for a spot on a tour bus, as you can't head to the DMZ all by yourself.

Drone Soccer
If you love soccer and drones then you'll just love the innovative new sport called drone soccer! The game involves navigating a floating orb through tiny goals using a joystick and kind of looks like a  futuristic version of Quidditch.

The sport was first introduced in 2016 and there are teams across the UK, China, Japan and Malaysia -- with Korea hoping to host a drone soccer World Cup series by 2025.

Korea's city of Jeonju has stepped up as the country's home of drone soccer, so far hosting 11 international drone soccer competitions -- you can keep an eye on upcoming events over at Visit Korea.

Rafting Down The Hantan River
The ten remaining teams had to navigate their way through the rapids of the Hantan River to make it to their second pitstop and were still clearly having a ball despite the time pressure.

The river that eventually flows into the Yellow Sea is a popular spot for white water rafting during the warmer months (June-September) which will set you back about $100, in a tour that also includes DMZ entrance fees.

Compared to boot camps, whitewater rafting and flyboarding, eating a bit of rice seems fairly easy... right?

After landing in Hanoi, taking in a water puppet show, making their way to Ninh Binh and either collecting 100 snails or foot-rowing their way across a river, one member from each 'Amazing Race' duo had to sit down for some lunch.

Local restaurant Lãng Khanh had prepared 300 parcels of green new rice (cốm) with just nine of the banana-leaf wrapped packages containing a coin that the teams needed to find in order to receive their next clue.

Mikayla and Hayley were the first team to arrive, with birthday girl Miky feeling lucky that they'd be done with the Road Block in no time.

Her face soon dropped after taking her first bite of the local delicacy, declaring it was "the driest thing I've ever eaten in my life" and her optimism soon turned to sheer misery as she opened not five, ten or even 15 more parcels but...

23 PARCELS OF RICE!

While some teams were lucky enough to find a package containing a coin immediately (hello footy mates and newlyweds!), the eating challenge proved to be nearly impossible for Mikayla, Jerome and Chris (who all spewed) and poor Amani who wept the entire time.

Did we mention some of the parcels were laced with chunks of chilli?

Even Viv, who is of Vietnamese descent, declared between mouthfuls to her brother Joey that, "this challenge sucks".

Having not tried the rice ourselves here at 10 daily, we couldn't quite understand why something that looked pretty tasty to us was causing the teams such strife.

So we decided to consult an expert and gave 'My Market Kitchen' and 'MasterChef' favourite Khanh Ong a call for the low-down on the northern Vietnamese dish.

"Oh my god," he said when we explained that someone had eaten 23 packages of cốm.

"The reason that they struggled so much is, it’s not something that you eat in big quantities.

"So usually what you would do is buy one and you’ll either share it with someone or just have it as a snack and you’ll be very, very full," Khanh said.

"So usually what you would do is buy one and you’ll either share it with someone or just have it as a snack and you’ll be very, very full," Khanh said.

Khanh explained that the dish is fragrant and sweet but also basically "just straight starch", and the roasted, unripened rice is "very dry" which makes it difficult to eat in large quantities.

"It’s supposed to be little finger-fuls, you’re not meant to be smashing it -- it’s a snack, and like any snack, you can’t just keep eating it, you’ll just die," he laughed.

So how many would Khanh be able to get through?

"I would not be able to eat 23 packets!" he exclaimed.

"I would probably get to two or three and say, 'This is delicious' and then by number five I'd be like, 'Okay, I reckon I need to go home or take a Fast Track or Detour because this is not happening any more'".

The History Of Cốm
Not to be confused with cơm (regular, matured rice), the name of yellow-y green cốm has a different accent, and therefore pronunciation.

The fragrant dish is beloved among locals in northern Vietnam because its seasonality and smell evokes strong memories of autumn, and its origin story has been told for generations (one village has been making for at least 700 years).

"So the history is, there was a major flood or storm that was about to hit and people were going to lose their crops so they picked the rice early to save them from, well, starving to death," Khanh told 10 daily.

"So they said, ‘Okay we’re just going to have to cook this green rice’ and, I don’t know if that’s completely true but that’s the legend that’s always been told," he added.

How To Eat It

We're here to tell you that you should absolutely not get scared off cốm after watching 'The Amazing Race Australia' but rather take care to just have a few small bites.

While the contestants were washing down the dish with Vietnamese coffee, Khanh said he's normally paired it with some green tea instead.

He also confirmed the pieces of chilli that were hidden in some of the packages are definitely not a traditional aspect of the dish and were probably included to make 'The Amazing Race' challenge that bit trickier.

While you won't find cốm at many Vietnamese restaurants or stores in Australia, Khanh said it's definitely available.

"I’ve had it here but I think it’s a very Vietnamese thing, you’d have to get it in," he said.

But if you're ever in northern Vietnam, you need to give it a go -- just don't eat too much.

The first morning in Vietnam started off so well, with a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" for Mikayla and a general sense of positivity in the air.

The nine remaining 'Amazing Race Australia' teams were ready for anything -- at least, that's what they thought before a series of unfortunate events unfolded in their paths.

The smiles and the singing that took place outside the water puppet theatre soon made way for frowns and forlorn stares into the middle distance -- in some cases accompanied by a cacophony of spewing, cursing and general sounds of despair.

The day that started in Hanoi and ended in Ninh Binh really was all about Lady Luck and we've pinpointed some of the gorgeously tragic moments from the whole messy journey where she well and truly left some contestants in the lurch.

River Dragon Confusion
The psychological elements of 'The Amazing Race' means that panic can cause some teams to just copy whatever they see another duo doing.

The first team into the theatre didn't spot the vital written clues on the dancing dragons and instead, Femi and Nick, Sid and Ash and Rowah and Amani ran out onto the street armed only with the vague assumption that they might be looking for dragons?

"Do you guys know any river banks, I mean, river dragons," Femi and Nick hopefully asked a group of older women trying to get through their Tai Chi session.

Sid And Ash Get A Taste Of Their Own Medicine
Jasmin and Jerome made the decision to stick Sid and Ash's photo on the U-Turn post -- meaning the Bondi influencers would be slowed down by having to collect 100 escargot and complete that tricky rowboat challenge.

You might think that this doesn't count as a 'devastating moment' because the least-liked team (by fellow contestants and viewers alike) have committed plenty of sins against their fellow racers up to this point.

We're more devastated by the face that Jasmin made when Jerome convinced her to use the U-Turn against Sid and Ash because she just knows that the Bondi locals will try and unleash hell with an almighty payback.

Femi Made A Pun!
You can go ahead and file this under 'devastatingly funny moments' even though Femi and Nick were getting a little desperate in their search for temples adorned with river dragons.

"Lost in Hanoi, how Hanoi-ing," Femi said, which elicited a smile from Nick and was a great indicator that the nurses and besties aren't getting on each other's nerves.

Dumb Luck Stomps All Over Hard Work
Birthday girl Mikayla almost resigned herself to the fact that had died and her punishment in hell was eating rice for all eternity at this Ninh Binh restaurant.

So it was only fair that the girl who ended up eating 23 parcels of rice was a little miffed when Tom opened his first banana leaf package and didn't even realise that he'd stumbled upon a coin on his first try.

"Oh what the hell!" she yelled in between mouthfuls of dry, toasted green rice.

Mikayla was equally unimpressed when, many parcels later, the newlyweds arrived and Tim advised Rod to just "choose whichever one's calling your name".

And voila, there must have been a tiny parcel of rice screaming out, "ROD!" because the pair found their coin and were out of that restaurant without eating a single grain of rice.

The Mother-Daughter Love Between Rowah And Amani
Despite a shocker of a day that involved an ambiguous puppet show, a frustrating row across a river and the torture of Amani via some very dry rice, the mother-daughter pair stayed strong.

The only thing they fought about was who was prouder of whom and even though they came in last, they truly deserved the good news that it was a non-elimination leg. Phew!

We're only a few episodes in and already, 'The Amazing Race Australia' has provided us with some cherished TV moments that have reminded us how humans react in stressful situations.
While the nuns turned to prayer, and the influencers' coping mechanism of choice has been sabotage, for some duos, their natural reaction to pressure has involved a mixture of blindly following another team, crying and occasionally vomiting.

Throughout the teams' journeys through South Korea and Vietnam, the pairs have been testing the boundaries of their relationships, with the stronger couples thriving and the more volatile duos cracking under the pressure.

Here are a few of our favourite wild moments so far:

The Nuns Stopping At Every Corner For A Few Hail Marys
Judy and Therese told 10 daily that they had no regrets about their decision to clasp their hands, bow their heads and pray instead of concentrating on racing ahead in the competition. We love them for the decision, but hate that their time-consuming devotion to God literally cost them their spot in 'The Amazing Race'.

The Influencers Re-inforcing The Influencer Stereotype
Content creators from Bondi must be mad that Sid and Ash are giving them a bad name because the pair have started the race off by lying, cheating and stealing to get ahead. Stealing a dumpling from the nuns was a low point but they're also fond of their misdirection trick in telling other teams they're going the wrong way.

The last day in Vietnam saw the influencers giving newlyweds Tim and Rod a huge leg-up before the Pit Stop, but we can't help get a little suspicious about their motives.

The Nuns Flyboarding, Playing Drone Soccer And White Water Rafting
We only spent two precious episodes with Judy and Therese -- with the aforementioned praying contributing to their tardy Pit Stop arrival. But what those two episodes in South Korea taught us is that we'd like to watch nuns doing things way more often.

Maybe it's something about their holy outfits, their sheer delight or their catchphrase-like comments about the world around them but we need an 'Amazing Race' spinoff called 'Judy And Therese: Nuns On The Run'.

The Ninh Binh Vomit Explosion
The northern Vietnamese dish of green new rice did not agree with Chris, Amani, Mikayla or Jerome who were all running for those strategically placed buckets after chomping their way through the rice parcels.

We consulted chef Khanh Ong who said the dish is most certainly not designed to be eaten in such large portions because it's so crunchy and dry.

Adrienne Loses Her Cool In The Heat
This was the first time we saw Adrienne get a little bit snappy as she and Chris began bundling their very messy piles of incense together like they were collecting kindling for a bonfire.

"You're not doing Christmas wrapping!" Ad said to Chris, who she thought was taking too much care in getting the incense into 2kg piles.

It turned out they were meant to be wrapping at a competitive Christmas level -- just like the other teams were taking the time to do. Their sloppy job resulted in this deliciously satisfying thumbs down.

The setback caused some extra stress, with Ad getting a little miffed at other teams for turning her scales around, a tense round of mask painting and the reminder that "a toe is not a foot!" when the couple were looking for a specific statue of Buddha with both feet on an animal.

Things reached fever pitch during a fight about whether Chris had a pencil in his bag (he did!) but the couple had patched things up by the time they reached the Pit Stop.

This Miracle, Gravity-Defying Bicycle Situation
It was a tough episode to watch as Jasmin and Jerome struggled to make it through the stilt-walking challenge. Defeated, they gave up to head to the mask painting area but then made a split-second decision to risk it all and head to the Fast Forward.

Tying dozens of shrimp baskets onto a bicycle saw Jasmin getting whipped in the eye with some bamboo but nevertheless, she persisted and the Deadly Duo's teamwork led to this gorgeous moment of Jerome beaming as he crossed the finish line, winning the approval of a local fisherman who completes this journey every day.

With still plenty of teams still in the race, we're crossing our fingers for more madness, sabotage and maybe one or two more gag-worthy eating challenges.

Mongolia saw new relationships formed, old ones tested and one team narrowly avoid elimination.

A lot happened on Monday night, with a few shifts in the dynamics of some of the teams. We rounded out the four biggest relationship shifts of the night.

Some very unhappy influencers:

Kicking things off, teams had to head from the Zaisan War Memorial in Ulaanbaatar to the Gandan monastery, but step one was getting a cab.

In last place, Sid and Ash had a plan to get a local to call them a cab from outside a convenience store. When the booked cab arrived, sisters Hayley and Mikayla flagged it down in what we ASSUME was an honest mistake.

Still, the influencers weren't hitting the 'Like' button any time soon.

"I'm not fine with it," Sid told Ash when they had finally managed to nab a cab to take them to the monastery, saying the stolen cab put them behind the other teams by about half an hour.

An unlikely alliance forms:

After managing to score a cab they didn't even order, the sisters' luck wasn't over yet. As the pair walked into the monastery second-last, they ran into the footy boys Tom and Tyler and were handed a very helpful piece of info.

Teams needed to spin and count prayer bells in the monastery but -- instead of spending the time to count and re-count bells -- Tom and Tyler simply gave the sisters the correct number as they headed out to the next challenge.

"I think maybe those boys have slipped a few numbers in their time that's why it was so quick and easy," the sisters joked.

And dreams of romance are dashed:
The sisters were full of gratitude to the boys for giving them a huge advantage over some teams still stuck counting bells, but it was a mystery to some of the teams as to why the boys helped them out.

"Tyler has a crush on Hayley," Tom said before Tyler quietly added, "Both of them..."

And while the girls were excited to be on the bus with their "really good friends" Tom and Tyler, they weren't ready to get into anything too serious. When the boys dropped the A-word (alliance), the sisters responded in unison, "Ohhh big word".

Later, Hayley clarified to-camera, "It's probably just a friendship right now."

Consider our dreams of a cross-team double couple dashed.

Short-sighted near misses:

While the sisters seemed to be in the middle of a few relationship dramas on Wednesday, and Femi and Nick had to battle a compass, there was one couple who seemed to be fighting against themselves.

Viv and Joey started the leg at a slight disadvantage -- climbing a whopping 3000 steps at the war memorial only to not be able to spot the next clue.

"We probably circled the memorial about three times because we couldn't see the bloody clue," Joey said before Viv pointed out, "The clue wasn't actually at our eye level."

And while that was a stumble, it was the camel trek to the pit stop that really put our mighty siblings at risk of being eliminated from the race altogether.

Heading into the sand dunes hoping to find Beau, Viv and Joey fell far behind the other teams heading in the wrong direction.

The pair managed to narrowly slide through, after Chris fell off his camel and was too injured to continue with the race, just missing out on elimination.

Talk about a close call.

The 'Amazing Race' teams were treated to a Mongolian delicacy of fermented mare's milk which was... surprisingly fizzy.

Airag (Айраг) is considered Mongolia's national drink among the nomadic tribes and is made up of fermented mare's milk. Also known in some regions as kumis or lamekh (if you're up on your Dothraki), the drink was just one of the challenges Mongolia had in store for the teams.

Prepared through natural means, the mare's milk is filtered through a cloth then stored in a large sack or bladder with a wooden stirrer inside it.

Aided with a fermentation agent or a 'starter', the bag is kept near the entrance to the yurt or ger and is repeatedly stroked or bumped over several days to keep the liquid moving, prompting the fermentation process.

Similar to Kefir -- fermented milk -- airag has a sour taste with a slight fizz to it due to the carbon dioxide that's released during fermentation.

The teams had to finish an entire bowl and they definitely weren't expecting it to have such... shall we say "unique" qualities?

Sitting in front of two Mongolian elders surrounded by the Khongoryn Els sand dunes, Viv probably put it best when she said, "The fermented milk was... fizzier than we were expecting."

Femi and Nick were determined not to let the interesting qualities of the drink get in the way of the comfortable lead they had on some of the teams.

Agreeing on the game plan of "Stop your sooking and start sipping," the nurses chugged back their bowls of milk to continue on with the race.

But it was Jasmin who struggled the most, fighting back gags as she sipped down the bowl of fizzy, bitter milk.

"It was really challenging," she said, "I was so embarrassed that we had been invited into this ger and, here I am gagging on this milk that this family have provided us with."

Jasmin was not only struggling with keeping the milk down but was also apologising with every burp, retch and gag she did in front of the couple.

Meanwhile, Tim and Rod had a different plan.

"We just had to swallow our pride and swallow that milk," Tim said in his signature eloquent style.

While it may have a slightly confronting taste and sparkle on the tongue, airag is said to have a handful of health benefits and vitamins. Because of the fermented nature of the drink, has a low percentage of alcohol -- which is probably why teams looked so happy after they were done.

Well... most of the teams.

As they raced between Zimbabwe and Zambia, our six teams received a surprise message from home to lift their spirits.

After completing a detour that saw teams either attempt to plough eight furrows in a field or build a section of a fence, the final six returned to their cars to find iPads with details of their next clue.

Each team had a recorded message from their families, giving them words of encouragement as well as the location of their next clue.

Before starting the race teams had to surrender their phones and devices, so these messages were the first time they had any contact from back home so far.

For Jasmin and Jerome, getting a chance to see their son was bittersweet as they had been missing him so much, but it also gave them the reminder of why they are in the race to begin with.

"This could change our lives back home," Jerome said of the race and its $250,000 prize, "we want to be able to build him a home, set him up for life. Winning this race is massive for us."

"Let's just keep racing our race," he added, "Let's not give up."

Tim and Rod's message from their mums also had them in tears.

"For them to say that they were proud of us just made our day," Tim said, "and just gave us that energy to fight all the way to the end."

Meanwhile, Tom and Tyler were getting a bit of locker room encouragement from AFL legend Paul Roos -- who just so happens to be Tyler's dad.

While it was a great surprise for a lot of the teams, they didn't have a lot of time to celebrate with their time in Zambia coming to a nail-biter of a finish on the first leg.

Finishing up at the Elephant Cafe along the Zambezi river, Jasmin and Jerome were fighting to the very last power-walk to get to the pit stop ahead of influencers Sid and Ash.

While the influencers weren't able to sneak ahead of the Deadly Duo -- luck appeared to be on their side with a non-elimination round.

But it looks like a rivalry is brewing and with both teams at the back of the pack, things are about to get interesting.

This week had some emotional highs and lows, and some literal highs and lows as teams swung across gorges, dug through animal poo and had bucket-loads of breakdowns.

Yep, Zambia sure was an eventful leg of the race and now with just five teams remaining, the race is getting even closer as we get to the pointy end of the competition.

Here are some of our favourite moments from the Zambia leg of the race:

A warm welcome
Teams actually flew into Zimbabwe, before heading across the border into Zambia. In doing so, they were welcomed with a beautiful ceremony of... well... getting spat in the face.

Okay, sure we initially thought this welcome was only reserved for the Influencers (maybe payback orchestrated by the nuns?) but what more could you ask for after a long flight?

Personalised clues

Partway through the first Zambia leg, teams found iPads loaded with a recorded message from their loved ones waiting for them. After being away from their families and friends without their phones to check in with them, emotions were definitely running high for some of the gang.

A gorge-ous way to spend a day

Kicking off the next leg, teams found the roadblock that would see one member from each team conquering a 70-metre freefall drop as they swung across the Batoka Gorge.

Swinging above the Zambezi river, not only did the teams get a major adrenaline rush but -- most shocking of all -- they managed to do so without dropping a single F-bomb. Meanwhile, from the comfort of our couch, we were swearing like sailors.

Getting the s--ts

A fast forward is a rare opportunity for teams to risk it for the biscuit, taking on a challenge that could see them bypass all remaining challenges for that leg and head straight to the pit stop IF they complete it in time.

Tom and Tyler have been at the front of the pack for a bulk of the race (except for the time they accidentally slept in), and with their headstart in Zambia once again they decided to give it a shot, or should we say a s--t because their task involved matching animals to their various poops and it was well and truly magical.

ith a helpful "menu" of poop types, the boys were able to match the craps with helpful hints like lion poo being "dark green or black (due to dried blood) with hair". Delicious.

Also, it wouldn't be a challenge for the footy mates without them being massive dorks and throwing animal crap down each other's shirts. Boys will be boys.

Saying f--k it to the bucket

There have been some really tough challenges so far in the race but sometimes even the simplest task can be the toughest. To complete their second leg in Zambia, teams needed to deliver buckets of water to the chief of Mpala village.

But that delivery needed to be done in the traditional manner, with buckets carried on their heads. For Viv, the bucket full of water was a crushing weight on her small but mighty frame meaning she and Joey had to take a handful of breaks on the journey to the village.

Falling behind the other teams and losing any lead they had, a defeated Viv and Joey made it to the pit stop in last place.

"Of all things on the race, this was the hardest one," Viv said fighting back tears.

"Doesn't matter what happens now," Joey added, "We made it to the mat. Made it the whole way. I wouldn't have done this race with anyone else and, seriously, she exceeded all expectations today. She pushed through. I'm so proud of her."

Networks try to keep a tight lid on the outcomes of their various reality TV shows, so it doesn’t help when your own network reveals major spoilers before a show goes to air.

And that’s exactly what happened this week when 10 Daily posted the outcome of Tuesday night’s episode of The Amazing Race almost 4 hours before the program actually went to air.

Outraged fans contacted TV Blackbox with links to a video which was easily accessible on the website. Not only did the heading immediately reveal which team were eliminated, but the video contained the final 5 minutes of the program, which had a nail-biting finale.

The clip, titled ‘Amazing Race’ Influencers Sid and Ash Eliminated left no question as to the outcome of the episode.

10 advises the error occurred because the wrong timestamp had been put on the clip, which makes sense as you can see by our screenshot.

It’s our understanding the video remained live all afternoon.

Since our enquiries the timestamp has been updated to reflect the time the video should have been uploaded.

10 Daily launched 2 years ago and after a slow start has gained momentum to now be one of Australia’s top 20 news websites.

Meanwhile, in a new twist the couple have revealed they have split up since completing the competition in an interview with TV WEEK;

"The whole environment of it [The Amazing Race Australia] is designed to create conflict,"

"It's an environment that can result in all this tension between teams."

Despite the pressure placed on the couple Ash says the show wasn’t the reason they broke up.

With just five teams left in 'The Amazing Race Australia', we take a closer look at how they've performed so far, and who's on track to take out the top prize of $250,000.

After racing through South Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Zimbabwe and Zambia, the teams have gone through some difficult detours, roadblocks and faced some dreaded speed bumps.

With just five teams remaining -- Viv and Joey, Tim and Rod, Tom and Tyler, Jasmin and Jerome and Femi and Nick -- the race is getting hotter and having to say goodbye to teams is getting a lot harder as we get to know them more.

In no particular order, we thought we'd break down some wins, fails and notable moments for each of our final five teams.

Jasmin & Jerome
Strengths:
Kindness, respect, integrity, throwing shade at influencers.

Weaknesses: Fermented horse milk.

Wins: One.

Closest call to elimination: Fifth place in Leg 7.

We aren't supposed to play favourites but Jasmin and Jerome are definitely favourites. The pair have played a smart game, using alliances but making sure to rely on no one but themselves.

They've also proven themselves to be incredible role models -- not just for their son but for the entire country -- treating everyone they meet along the way with the utmost respect.

Despite beating Tom and Tyler for the first place spot in Leg 5, the Deadly Duo cut it close later in the race when they barely nudged in front of Sid and Ash in Leg 7. Thankfully that's the closest the pair have come to the chopping block and frankly, if they could keep it that way, that would be great.

Tom & Tyler
Strengths:
Dumb luck.

Weaknesses: Setting alarms, helping the competition.

Wins: Six.

Closest call to elimination: Fourth place in Leg 6.

Tom and Tyler have had the most incredible run in the race, as the first team to check into the pit stop a massive six out of eight times. The closest they've come to the back of the pack was an unlucky day in Mongolia that saw them fall to fourth out of seven, but the very next day they slid right back into first.

It feels like the footy mates are unstoppable at this stage, with luck on their side they've been able to glide through a lot of the challenges. They're fit, they're agile ... as long as they remember to set their alarms and stop giving other teams help they could continue this winning streak all the way to the end.

Viv and Joey
Strengths:
Teamwork, sassing each other.

Weaknesses: Buckets.

Wins: None just yet, but the mighty duo have placed second in three legs.

Closest call to elimination: Fifth place in Leg 8.

If your heart didn't break watching Viv and Joey struggle to deliver buckets full of water to a chief at the end of Leg 8, you may be a robot (or an Influencer). Never giving up, Joey also never cracked it at his sister when she was struggling.

The pair have been strategic, smart and always looked out for each other throughout the race.

While they haven't been the first team to land on the pit stop mat in any of the legs so far, they've come pretty close, so don't rule out these underdogs.

Femi and Nick
Strengths:
Getting lost.

Weaknesses: Reading a compass, following directions, knowing what "North" is.

Wins: None so far.

Closest call to elimination: Honestly, too many to count.

Femi and Nick said it best when they asked: "How are we even still in the race?" The lovable nurses are ... let's just be honest, they're terrible at following directions, but oh my god do we love them.

Watching the pair skate their way through challenges only to be undone by driving in the wrong direction, riding a camel in the wrong direction or just walking in the wrong direction -- Femi and Nick have had quite a few close calls coming second-last three times during the race.

After the nightmare detour in Mongolia where teams had to dig for their next clue -- Femi and Nick really rallied to get back with the pack and actually managed to arrive fifth, but their time penalty meant they were pushed back to sixth when Viv and Joey slid in before the two hours were up. Since then, though, the boys have done their very best not to miss TOO many turn-offs or drive in the wrong direction.

Let's just hope the only direction they're heading from here on out is to the win.

Tim & Rod
Strengths:
Strengths: Busting a move.

Weaknesses: World trivia.

Wins: None so far, but they've checked in second three times.

Closest call to elimination: Not even one!

Newlyweds Tim and Rod have proven that they're our favourite quote-machines in the race. From being the number one fans of the "Zimbabwe bobsledding team" to trying to milk a male goat, the boys' time in the race has been hysterically funny to watch.

The fellas have also proven that they're definitely threats in the race, in peak physical condition the fearsome twosome have barely slipped to the back of the pack all race. The closest call the boys have had was during Leg 5 when they were the fifth team out of eight to check-in, so they don't need to sweat just yet.

Here's hoping there are a few more dancing challenges ahead to make sure the boys are safe for another day.

I didn't know where to place this, so it might be in the wrong thread.

Is there any way to watch this for those of us outside of Australia? Does anyone know of any links? Thank you!

Lot of penalties on Episode 10, apparently
