Lena & Kristy (6): They have probably the biggest Unfinished Business style story waiting to happen. Eliminated in one of the most iconic TAR tasks ever, the determination of Lena doing that task for 8+ hours, it's a comeback waiting to happen
Billy & Carissa (8.): It's the Gaghan kids! Seeing them racing as little kids and as adults would really be fun, especially since their parents were of course racing for them. They also wrote the introductions to a TAR book (
My Ox is Broken), so those are plus points for me
Dustin & Kandice (10/11): If any team from the classic era of TAR deserves a third chance, it's them. They have been the measuring stick for how strong and formidable FF teams could be and have been for so long. I think inviting them is so much deserved.
Azaria & Hendekea (12): They were an uber strong team taken out by bad flights. Another option would
Azaria & Christina (of Ron & Christina) since they got married (don't know if they still are). Two strong racers in season 12, and could be a much better match up than Eric & Danielle.
Toni & Dallas (13): Another team with real unfinished business. IIRC they were the first team taken out by missing passports and if it weren't for that, they could have taken out eventual winners Nick & Starr on the penultimate leg.
Andrew & Dan (13): I just wanna see them fumble again
But these guys were fun to watch back then, I wonder if they could improve their racing if given a second chance.
