I hope the cast is great because that route is meh, at least it's mostly new region but still..

Out of the 3 BC legs, I probably would have eliminated the Revelstoke one for one more QC leg ,  and change Muskoka for Newfoundland

Agree 100%. Maybe either get rid of that Toronto start, or have a true live start a la TAR. It would have been the perfect opportunity to do it.

I think I'm most disappointed with the Muskoka finish. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful there, but I'm not sure it could support a TARC finish line. And on Victoria Day Weekend, it's just Toronto transplanted. Possible tasks: returning your two-fours to The Beer Store; waiting in line to refill your propane tank; and dodging the pterodactyl-sized Blackflies.

I’m pretty sure by having an all domestic route they saved a lot more money and hopefully thy can venture out with some more international destinations next season, but it’s TARC so highly unlikely lol

Unless another major sponsor, that would like to promote overseas travel for Canada gets involved, it does seem to make International legs even more unlikely.

FF team in Final 3!

Another interracial team makes the finale again!
I've been looking all around for that confirmation.  Who are the F3?  You've got Sam & Sarah, either Lauren & Joanne or Marsha & Kali, and who else?

There is no Marsha and Kali! It was a mistake. Team 3 is Lauren and Joanne and they are in final 3 with James and Anthony and Sam/Sarah

TAR Canada as a whole is irritating.  :funny: :groan:

 B:)

Pardon?

Half the TARCAN seasons to date are quality (1/2/4), so the franchise as a whole can't by definition irritate.

It would be so cool if they added Canada’s Choice in other seasons like let us pick a destinations in the season and if they make an all star season let us pick some teams

I can't wait for the cat ladies in Facebook to complain about the abundance of Ontario teams and that their province is not represented.  :funny:

I saw one under Sarah & Sam's post already. Voting Jet & Dave in added one, since Frankie & Amy are from BC and Brent & Sean are from Nova Scotia.

Yup, the First Nations team. And 2 more F/F teams we didn't know the identities of.

So it's anyone's guess until tomorrow :)

*** LAST THREE TEAMS

Based on their intros only Sarah & Sam and Jet & Dave have "Second Chance" stories. I hope more info comes out about this soon or what was the point of the "Second Chance" angle?

Aarthy & Thinesh
Competitive and energetic dating couple, living in Vancouver who are both first-generation Canadians.

Trish & Amy
Driven, stay-at-home mothers and friends who bonded over their love of triathlons.

Lauren & Joanne
Fun-loving and enthusiastic sisters who become the race’s first team ever to hail from Saskatchewan.

Gilles & Sean
A fun-loving grandfather and grandson who enjoy nothing more than being outdoors.

**Anthony & James
A married couple who want to be positive role models for Indigenous youth

Sarah & Sam
Determined teammates and friends who fought their way back from near career-ending injuries.

**Meaghan & Marie
Resilient twin sisters, who are business partners and best friends.

**Nekeita"Niki" & Aisha
Spirited friends who have been besties for 17 years.

Dave & Irina
Intensely competitive married couple from Québec, who now live abroad.

Jet & Dave
Unforgettable best friends who competed on Season 1, and were voted back into the competition as part of Canada’s Choice.

I say the twins also have a second chance type cause one of them did break their neck and for the grandfather I feel like he has a second chance kind of a life, getting out there at 65, fresh start

Now seeing all the teams I kind of don’t mind the all domestic route looks like we have a great cast and I feel like it will be a good season :conf:

This observation was just from their initial descriptions from CTV. When you see the various interviews their back stories come out. ie: the twins mother passed when they were 14 years old, Gilles took over a lot of the parenting responsibilities when his daughter had Sean at a young age.

Gotta admit, even if the route is mediocre, this looks like a pretty top-notch cast.

This cast reminds of season 4.

Raptors winning is a good omen for the season I think.  :cheer: Especially when the Starting Line was in Toronto too!
