Oh and before anyone asks about the Windsor next to Wolfville, it's #NotMyWindsor.  :funny:

Oh and this is only a couple hours from me, but sorry! I'm unable to get up there to track.

Cape Split - 30 minutes N of Wolfville is supposed to have the most dramatic display of the high tide.

I have an idea, though, about a place of interest they could end up if this leg turns into a tour through the whole valley - Annapolis Royal at the far end.

It's Nova Scotia's oldest settlement and the original capital before Halifax's founding. There's a whole preserved park with a centuries-old cemetery there.

But all through the valley, the pink and white apple blossoms are starting to come out. It'd be an especially pretty time of year on camera.

Southeast? Maybe Peggy's Cove finally? That's like the most iconically Canadian spot they've never been to, along with CN Tower :P

And yet you see it in the intro of every season.

Peggy's Cove is notably being the site of the second deadliest air crash in Canadian history, Swissair Flight 111 bound from New York to Geneva that was trying to divert at Halifax with a fire on board.

Adding up things:

We know our final 4 in Nova-Scotia
We know there was 5 teams in Thunder bay (Indian m/f eliminated here)
We know there was 6 teams in Charlevoix (Which mean Blonde f/f eliminated here)
Which probably means that our Waterloo/Kitchener was the last NEL (Final 6)
which would also probably mean Saskatoon was a EL (with the Twins F/F being eliminated)
And Nanaimo/Combs being NEL (Final 7)
Yellowknife being a EL (With red m/m team being eliminated)
And Edmonton our first NEL. (Final 8)

Unless they surprise us with two back to back NEL

It would be a first for the same province to host both the penultimate leg as well as the finale.

On Jon’s LIVE “On the Road” the sign on the stall said “Puck n Apples”. Do you think this indicates a detour - such as playing hockey and making apple cider or identifying apples? There is an ice rink in Wolfville and plenty of orchards.

Where will the finale be?

If they took a plane to Toronto, I doubt it will be in the maritimes... they would have went directly
So much for St-John's.... :(

I was hoping for somewhere in Newfoundland & Labrador. At this point I have no idea where they are.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow. Hopefully not an already visited province. I absolutely hope not BC

at the airport I learned that they were headed "central". I know it's vague but it likely rules out anywhere out West for a finale.

When you look up the geographic location of Central Canada it’s says Baker Lake in Nunavut, hopefully they are headed there next cause that would be a great finale leg

Could be BC  :funny:

According to a Tibetan Monk the “Centre of the Universe” is Vidette Lake in BC!

Here’s the story:
“The mysterious man turned out to be an apprentice monk who had been sent from San Francisco to verify the existence of the Centre of the Universe. Tibetan monks believe that the Centre of the Universe is located on the earth and using a series of tests, it can be verified. The Rinpoche, or Master Teacher, in San Francisco had simply pointed to a location on a map that he had never seen and claimed that it was the spot. He then sent the apprentice to the Kamloops area and on to Vidette Lake to conduct a series of tests. This was the white-robed man who showed up in 1980.”

So Santa's Village in Bracebridge.

Wonder if they went to What Wake Park. Muskoka is Mickey and Pete country, that's the watersports park Mickey owns. Still does.

The guy from Thunder Bay Tourism said they've been working with production for three years - this confirms past spec about how closely they work with communities who host legs. They don't just happen, especially when local sponsors become involved.

But do you think it's for every communities? I kind of understand cities like Thunder Bay / Sudbury having to work with them in advance, because it's kinda remote. I feel like maybe the Waterloo Kitchener leg was a last minute replacement.
