Apparently the coldest April 30 day since WWII!

Ha! I start to bitch when it goes below freezing!

Always possible they flew out to somewhere else via a private operator like in Season 1.

That's what I'm thinking. I've been watching for mentions about Nunavut, too. If they went to some little outpost, chances are we may not see them.

Little confused right now... Which leg is happening? 4 or 5? Also who is the team at the newest sighting?

4. And by the blue backpacks, it's Marsha & Kali.

Internationally speaking...we just had a leg in Manila. I'd prefer somewhere new myself.

Since TARC prefers going to countries with big Canada connections, the Philippines certainly fits the bill with the big Filipino population in Canada.
BUT! It's also a perfect time for TAR Canada to go to the Philippines now after the controversy re: Canada's garbage in the Philippines is back in the news. It would be hilarious.  :clap2:

That would be very funny. "In this task, sort the Canadian garbage into recyclables, compost and household waste."

But that would also mean they probably aren't going to the Philippines due to this political spat.

For safety precautions, Philippines recently experienced several earthquakes and you just said that there is still a controversy between the two countries regarding the garbage. Agree with georgia, I'd prefer something new.  Phils. needs a break though for a meanwhile .

From what I heard, the entire leg was in Yellowknife.  ???

I think we can also rule out a leg in China.

Have no photos to back this up...

But believe that one task (possible RB??) will require the racer to scuba dive under ice.

And the leg may have ended at the  Chief Drygeese Center

Scuba under ice? Season 1 Yellowknife task mixed with Season 1 Kelowna task.

The juxtaposition of going from frozen NWT to a hot desert-like climate would be hilarious

I don't think they will go at any 'northern/snow' place for the rest of the season... From that facebook live, Revelstoke also looked quite cold, so with Yellownknife that's two 'north/snow' leg already.

Guess that eliminated Labrador and maybe Thunderbay

Saw the recent FB live with Jon. That's obviously Yellowknife and NWT.

It snowed in Edmonton the day before they arrived. Much of it melted but there were flurries off and on during Sunday. Also, regarding the second FB live video with Jon, that's obviously the NWT near Yellowknife.

If they're back in Vancouver at this point, yup, chances are that means they're on the way out. About time, huh, Mangoez? Lol

lol!
With international Legs at such a premium on TAR Canada, especially now compared to the four international Leg seasons before, it's very interesting to see which special countries get the visit.

I'll assume they're going to Asia, though I guess South America is possible as well.

The big shock would be if they continue going westward until they return to Canada, having all the international Legs (however many that will be) in the middle of the season.

If the teams would go to The Philippines, Philippine Airlines has a direct flight from Vancouver to Manila.

I presume the leg has started/is over by now. Couldn't find anything today. I'll be mildly surprised if it isn't a southeast Asian country since they've dug themselves into that predictable rut the past 3 seasons :P
