If there's "second chance teams"and this is a hybrid season, by second chance, we could get:

Strong teams eliminated early:
1. Darren/Kristen
2. Cormac/Nicole
3. Hamilton/Michaelia
4. Todd/Anna

Dominating teams that fell short:
1. Jet/Dave
2. Jody/Cory
3. Meghan/Natalie
4. Kenneth/Ryan

I don't follow TAR forums as well as I do Big Brother, so I can't speak for teams that fans want back.
5. Taylor/Courtney

Replace Giver with Adam/Andrea.

Seeing as the overseas legs have been split between Asia and Latin America for all but one season, it'll probably be something like Japan and Peru this time around.

Do u guys think with Tar 31 airing the same time, it will tank the Canadian ratings, it will benefit or won't change the ratings at all

If BBCAN casts' attitudes toward old-school reality contestants are anything to go by, then the presence of certain racers can only increase viewership.

Oh wow good point.

I don't think it will affect either.

As long as the Triple Express Pass twist returns (and hopefully lasts more than two episodes for once).

Yeah, it'll most likely end up on Tuesday nights again. It's been a winning slot for them the last 3 years, why change it now.

I think it would boost ratings to have them both on the same night, no?

A CTV original would take precedence.

Jillian/Emmett wouldn't really fit a "second chance" theme because TAR4 was their second chance at Reality and if they came back, it'd be their third chance, basically.

There was a live facebook event with 2 producers of the show this morning.
No new information, they confirmed the theme this year was second chance on life.

One also let slip they could only choose 10 teams, confirming what we already guessed about having the 10 teams 11 legs formula

So teams could consist of cancer survivors, terrorist attack survivors, workplace accident survivors?

Yup! I mean it's great story wise, but I don't know how it will work out having 10- teams with sob stories....I guess we will see

Weight loss heroes, Drug addicts, couple who fell in love with each other after their divorcees, transgender people, parent and adopted child, immigrants of course...

I wish they didn't limit themselves with stupid theme and casted just 10 best teams they could find.

This will be another TARCAN5/TARCAN6 with NO DRAMA, even ****tier tasks and 1 international leg.

I could really stay at least few international legs to have more drama.

An Unfinished Business like season with all early boots would be an ideal scenario.

TARC6 was already a little too "nice" and these were teams of "heroes." Though it wasn't as bad as the way Jon exaggeratedly described as being the nicest, most friendly cast ever or something like that.

I can only imagine how the show will go out of their way not to paint any of these "survivors" in a bad light. Like, I can see them guilting you into rooting for a cancer survivor or someone who got shot or something. Though TARUS showed that even a cancer survivor can still be completely unlikeable of course. Nothing to do with their health, just horrible personalities. I wonder if TARC will dare cast a team like that.

I'm just afraid that we will get 10 teams with sob stories, and that all the focus is on the team's personal stories/past drama and we loose the aspect of the race/game

The team i am most looking forward is probably an immigrants i would love an north korean team, but with the cancer teams or drug addicts we saw how it all turned out horribly in TAR aND their personalities were terrible, aka Dave & The drug models
