TARC 6 Episode 10 "The Plan Is Simple. Win!" 9/4/18
« on: August 29, 2018, 10:43:21 AM »
Title is: "The Plan Is Simple. Win!" per Bell PR https://www.bellmedia.ca/pr/press/the-sixth-team-is-eliminated-in-season-6-of-ctvs-the-amazing-race-canada-heroes-edition/

"On the next episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, “The Plan Is Simple. Win!” (Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. MT on CTV and CTV GO), the final four teams return to Canada, and head to CFB Gagetown where a Detour becomes a test of survival of the fittest and has some teams spinning out of control. Then, a Face Off keeps the wheels in motion as racers give it their best shot, and a Roadblock has teams at a loss for words as they compete for a spot in the finale."

So nervous for Martina & Phil :( They feel like that team that a F4 Face Off tends to knock out. They HAVE to be in the final! Best team of the season.

Looking at Courtney & Adam, too, though. They're like the weakest team left by average.

Yeah looking in the past, it seems that anybody not named Taylor/Courtney are in danger (Even if Dylan/Kwame won the last leg, they have not been performing that well...) But that's the beauty of the race: You never know what's going to happen. Look at season 1, Jet/Dave won 3 legs and were favorite, but lost the penultimate leg.

From the preview, it seems we have in the following order:

- Guard Task
- Detour at CFB Gagetown
- Face-off at Lady Beaverbrook Gymnasium
- Roadblock (It looked based on the preview at an art gallery, maybe the Beaverbrook Art Gallery)
- Pitstop at Governor House

Maybe there is one more cluebox or route info somewhere else also..

The F4 F-O plays only a minor part in determining the finalists compared to the RB, which has always been the last task before the Pit-Stop:

* CabGate before the Wayne/Gord/whoever cameo

* unnecessary Latin

* entomophobic freakout

There's a Guamanian-11 vibe with the Detour: military drills or aircraft simulation.

I'm nervous too, not so much about the being knocked-out by the F-O, but they just seem like that really fun and awesome team, who are good racers within their abilities that just gets knocked out right before finals, by a weaker team.

I also love the mounties since leg 1, so I hope both sibling teams will get to race the final leg.

Ew, don't remind me, and I disagree because the other tasks don't involve local NB food a la the borscht/flour and also because there's self-driving instead of being at the mercy of a cabbie.

The last part looks like London from TAR25. Doing a changing of the guard.

And there's the performance task for this leg.

Unless the 1% possibility of an unannounced/third Double U-Turn comes true.
