On May 29th, TAR will move to 8pm for the rest of the season. The episode on 5/22 will still be at 9pm.

Source: http://thefutoncritic.com/listings/2019/05/29/

Interesting that there is nothing listed on CBS for the 9pm for that date, wonder if we might get some double episode airings like we had for the back half of TAR30.

This is a bit of a puzzle. There is NOTHING listed for 9PM for CBS that night. But the 8PM show is listed as Ep 6.

I am being told we may have a double ep that night (6 and 7??)..so I think Futon  has a glitch. If anyone has a way to reach them to ask please do!

Futon doesn't list reruns for listings. There could be a rerun at 9pm and they won't list it.

TFC is not showing anything for the CBS schedule (premiere, new, or repeats) for CBS other than TAR. It may just be that CBS hasn’t released anything yet.

You might want to look at this:

http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/amazing-race/listings/

At the moment no time change for May 22nd. If they were it’d be shown with a strikethrough of the 9 pm listing, and a listing with a new time just above it. That’s how they’ve always done and you can scroll way down that same page and see past examples.

Seems like we are back to single airings from May29. The listings from TheFutonCritic do seem to match it.

Episode 5 is apparently called "I'm a Bird, I'm a Plane, I'm on The Amazing Race"

And Episode 6 is "Who Wants a Rolex?"

I guess this is the thread to discuss it. But BB21 premieres on June 25 and 26, at 8pm on both nights. So TAR will likely move back to 9pm then for its last 2 episodes. Unless they air Eps 11 and 12 on June 26 to make it a Premiere/Finale night like they do with Survivor/BB in the fall?

I’m keeping an eye on Futon Critis to see if any scheduling information they have is updated. Nothing yet.

Yup, looks like a two-hour finale for TAR on June 26 according to The Futon Critic.

And I assume that would be the last episode eligible for inclusion this year's Emmys submissions. legs 08 to 12 are out.

Clever. I assume they might include a mention to TAR finale in the Press Releases for the BB premiere, which will help for exposure.

And considering the info we have from the spoiler thread, it is useful to pair the final 2 episodes, in the same night of BB premiere week.

A big positive for TAR, it remains one of the most upscale shows on TV. Through the first four episodes this season, it ranks high for homes earning $100,000+ and homes with people with 4+ years of college. Both are very coveted demographics for advertisers.

Fascinating Production Team Article for the Viet Nam and Laos Legs:

Quote
In summer 2018, the multi-award-winning CBS series made its return to Laos and Vietnam for an unprecedented triple play. An Amazing record in the history of the original flagship show that saw The Creatv Company facilitating three consecutive episodes across two different countries. In this epic production marathon, the Creatv Company needed to split into two teams to support the three country producers: one in Luang Prabang for a day show, and two in Ho Chi Minh City for a continuous day show followed by a night show.
