It's interesting that Team 6 only has one backpack. Same strategy as Jess/Cody

When did Jody drop the 2nd backpack? Penultimate? They can't be carrying warm coats??? They know they won't need them?  :duno:

Jody didn't have a full on 2nd backpack since the start. They had one full on bag and a small bag I think.

Team 6 using that strategy???

I am thinking 12 legs, or 11 and Stratford/Toronto are counted as one leg (but both being full ones, sort of like Hungary in TAR6).

I was also thinking about that leg in Hungary!

I'm pretty sure the mat pics/teases were posted WELL BEFORE they landed in Toronto. We thought the leg was done, then bam they show up at Yonge & Dundas. But I can also see them doing that as a foiler.

Yup, it is possible, they know we are watching lol :0328:

Well, damn.  The cheerleaders were looking strong.  What could've happened to them, I wonder?

Looks like my hypothesis proved right:

Leg 6 - Stratford + Toronto, 7 teams racing
Leg 7 - Winnipeg, 6 or 7 teams racing
Leg 8 - Charlottetown, 5 or 6 teams racing
Leg 9 - Nairobi, Copenhagen, etc., 5 teams racing
Leg 10 - somewhere in Quebec, 4 teams racing
Leg 11 - Edmonton or Calgary, 3 team finale

So Cheerleaders may have ended their run in Winnipeg or Charlottetown.

Could have been the death of their race getting a bad Cab Driver

Quite possibly that and maybe them seen as a threat or maybe they were way ahead of everyone (I am hoping for that)

Above-average probability of a Saturday finale in either of the major Alberta cities.

From Jon’s latest video they are in Mexico City. Jon is at the Central de Abasto market, “one of the two large wholesale markets in Mexico City. The facility is located on a property that extends 328 hectares (810 acres)”.

And there is a team of first respnders.

I think Peach has more info!
But it's pretty exciting to have another international destination!!
I was just in Mexico City last February to visit a friend and it's a wonderful city.
I wonder if I was there at the same time as the producers, while they were scanning for location   :clap2:

As for the finale city, usually we always have a big city.
But we used to always have a different province for the starting line/leg 1 but not this year.
So it is possible that they don't travel to a big city (aka the only one left are Calgary/Edmonton) but we could have a medium city like Halifax or even smaller like Fredericton. I mean there is plenty to do in Fredericton to have a whole finale there...

At least Quebec has never had an elimination leg in the first five seasons and that would make sure to have a penultimate Quebec leg.

I think it would be logical to have the penultimate leg in Quebec. There are plenty of direct flight from Mexico City to Montreal, and lots of flight from Montreal to pretty much anywhere in Canada

Would they really skip all of AB - including Banff - just to go to NB after the PEI revisit covered the Maritimes quota?

I don't think they have quotas, almost every season there has been 2 maritimes legs (except last season where the starting line was there + 1 leg, season 3 had 1 leg in NS and another one in Magdalen Islands, which is in Quebec but pretty maritime if you ask me)

They already almost skipped AB in season 2, only had the starting line there, so I think they could skip it also this year.

The final leg couldn't be in Quebec, though. That would be 3 years in a row.

Don't forget that they also went from Jasper to Calgary to do that task with Helen Upperton.
