Im just so freaking happy we’re back.!! 
It is still the game with love, with a route, 12 legs (probably), challenges and one lucky team winning 1 million dollars.
The show is STILL on, let’s celebrate that, embrace whoever races it, and hope for the best for the future of The Amazing Race with this new idea.

I posted on Reddit that Brandon Hantz should compete with his father Shawn Hantz. That could be good for Hantzes.

So when CBS plops TAR31 back on Fridays at 8pm and the ratings go back to sub-1.0, will the timeslot be blamed or will the horrible casting be blamed? Or both?
Conversely, if CBS miraculously gives TAR31 a Monday-Thursday slot (Sundays would also likely see similar numbers now even with NFL overrun) and the ratings are similar to TAR30, will it be because of the better slot or the stunt casting?

A lot of insanity to be discussed, for sure either way.

funny that long time ago i had an idea Survivor should make a season called TAR vs BB vs Survivor (6 people each tribe), and now TAR will do that

I seriously hope if they want to destroy the race, they do it gloriously this season. U-TURNs and Yields every leg, throw in some hidden advantages, Speed Bumps, random Immunity and Reward challenges, Hidden Immunity Idols, slop eating, HoH challenges, PoV challenges etc.

I can't care with whatever they feed us anymore. If they want manufactured drama (like what the recent Survivor has turned into), then do it this season.

I'd like to hold onto some hope they won't do this but it seems to me they don't care what anyone wants and only what they think will make them more money.

This is non-sensical, but considering that 90% of the show's casuals will be boycotting the show to show some sorta solidarity against recruiting teams, I'd like to see how many Americans *actually* vote.

Maybe not the winner, but let the public vote for who will be U-Turned or Yielded or will get a Fast Forward, Express Pass, etc.
Do it while filming the Race, sort of like Jon Montgomery's check ins for TAR Canada. Have people vote before even seeing a single episode, just base their votes on popularity!

America's Next Top Model did public voting a few seasons ago, so why not try that for TAR?

I would rant about Survivor, too, since they've ruined that show with stupid tWIsTssS~ as well, but nobody even cares abotu that show on this board anymore.
