So for Ep 7, the teams are equalized/bunched in Africa, split up for the remainder of the episode with zero consequences (no elimination), probably equalized/bunched again at the start of Ep8 and then encounter the second Uturn.  Correct ??

Based on the days we know they flew in and when they did tasks in Harare, I'd predict this is probably a similar situation the last time they were in Zimbabwe. Teams arrived at around 4 pm, where they probably had an overnight rest where they swapped partners. Then the next morning the continue Leg 7 but its a KOR leg and they travel to Harare for Leg 8.

Summed up:
Leg 7: arrive in Zimbabwe, overnight rest, swap partners, tasks in next morning, KOR
Leg 8: continued that day in Harare, Pit Stop

No doubt the partner swap's going to be like the very first thing. Would obviously need them completely equalized.

Done by drawing names out of a can, by the looks of it.

Press pics are up for the first leg. Guessing from the context, teams take a train to Imire, pitch tents, and swap partners in the morning.

Leg 8: continued that day in Harare, Pit Stop
I don't think it's a TBC there.  They have to take their regular partners back at the end of leg seven, so there has to be a rest point there.

Please check Neobie's post at the transportation thread, teams are most likely arrived at noon on leg 7, with a Pit Stop before reaching night time. I think NEL could be more likely. Sunset in Harare on October 15th was 5:56 pm local time.

But according to the sneak peaks, teams are in their original teams when they set up camp for the night. I don't see how it can't be a KOR

If it was a NEL, a speed bump would be in play on leg 8. So if each racer had to be back for their partner at the end of leg 7, it would be totally unfair. I am guessing a KOR with a bunching point after virtual pit-stop instead, in order to equalize the difference between teams before the w-turn

I wish they made it a NEL for the mixed teams, and then both of the team members' original teams had to complete the Speed Bump next leg.

Their original team members would have to wait for them to complete the speed bump too. This would make the elimination on leg 8 unfair

How is it even remotely unfair when both have to perform the SB?  :cmas29

Anyway, S27 showed how a TBC is hella anti-climactic between two separate episodes, but the fact that this one's a double would make it more pardonable.
