I'm leaning towards Joburg for connection city- has way more flights into Zimbabwe tomorrow than Cape Town

Harare and Victoria Falls both have flights in the late morning and early afternoon from there, with Bulawayo having one in the late morning as well

Cape Town just has one to the Victoria Falls area, and it might be before our expected time frame for their arrival in South Africa

The woman in pink is the female Debater. She's usually seen with a black headband on, and the male Debater was photographed settling down in the seat next to her on the flight.
I don't think the man in the background is Violinist. Violinists have matching light grey backpacks.

I figured that would be one of Skiers. that's Jen. the pink color is darker compared to Evan which has light pink. of course, that's Jen's headband and not Evan's, the female debater team always wear black cap wherever she goes.

No, that's Debater, not Skiers. The headband is Debater's (you can check the previous sightings in Prague). She has darker pink because she was wearing a jacket or something. And people can have more than one set of clothes.

Yup, that's what tends to happen with U-Turns. There almost always is another one. If the targeted team survives, they will usually be seeking to return the favor (in this case, Jody) on the next one.

It's a possibility.  There is still one missing M/M team out there somewhere.  No matter what though I am happy to see some M/M teams going down..  This would be 3 in a row.

All 3 couples are still there which surprised me.

Personally while I know it's part of the game, I would rather someone go out for their own undoing than a U-Turn

well to be fair their own undoing was not making it to the uturn before the other teams (if they are gone).

It's part of the game, though.  And honestly, if they're gone, they're gone.  Cody & Jessica made the right choice by making it so.  Allow the rarely trailing alpha-male team a chance to catch up and even win after passing up the best chance to keep it from happening?  Hell no!

I have no strong feelings either way about the Violinists. I'm still confused as to what wanting a team to be eliminated "by their own doing" rather than the result of a U-Turn means. So are these people who are against U-Turns being successful also against NELs?

Well NEL’s have been a feature since the beginning, and I’d argue necessary

If we were to have no NEL’s with 11 teams we would only get 9 episodes tops, which is really short, especially for reality television

If we wanted 12-13 episodes without NEL’s, we’d have to have 14-15 teams- you already run the risk of losing teams amongst the sea of contestants when they do a 12 team race

Neither really would work that well

U-turn is just another extra device they implemented to spice things up

I personally kind of enjoy it as a whole, but it is really a bummer when a good/competitive team gets knocked out solely because they didn’t happen to complete a detour as quick as another team

And throughout the seasons there have been plenty of instances of teams being their own worst enemy, and knocking themselves out/losing in the finale- and I find it makes for better tv
