We start with a recap of last leg. Sam and Paul won the leg, third time this season.

On the way to the pitstop K/B were last, but were spared elimination.

Double U turn ahead.

K/R 12:10 pm, time to get back at SP

12:29, A/A depart

$460 USD for this leg of the race

KI depart at 12:51 pm

KB depart at 1:47pm, almost an hour behind KI .

Karen: We will not waste this second chance.

Andrea is really shocked KB survived.

All teams on flight via Toronto to Regina.

When they land, they must take a 2017 Chevrolet, Cruise or Hatchback (their choice).

Clue: RI: Rise or shine, Make your way to Douglas Park Elementary school and squeeze Orange juice. This is one of the BMO wishes by a fan... and it will come to realization right now.

All teams at the OJ task.

SR-first, AA-second, KI- third, KR - fourth KB- last in order to the OJ task.

SP finish now, and are serving the oj to the students.

Clue: RI: Make your way to Aulie Farms in Rouleau, Saskatchewan

KI finish in second.

KR finish in third. AA in fourth.

KB in last, and just finish.

KI stop for directions from a local and the local gives them poor directions lol.

KB has a map though and it tells them they can take a shortcut.

SP arrive at the farm.

KB arrive in second to the farm !!

Detour: The Cart or the Horse.

Cart: 150 Challenge. Manuever the grain machine, and shovel 1000 pounds of Canola seed.

Horse: One team member will act as auctionineer, the other as bid catcher. Acknowledge and relay it to the other team member using hand signals. Once teams reach $6000 they can continue.

Speed bump: Clean a horse stall. Remove manure, and lay fresh hay.from farm stall.

KR arrive at the detour and choose horse. Kenneth's grandpa was an auctioneer. He is now memorizing his lines.

A/A choose cart. Andrea likes the uniforms.

SP line up their machine but don't know how to turn on the belt that will bring up their grains.

AA also at this point and have caught up. They can't find the button either that will shoot it up.Sam tells Andrea he doesn't know how to and she replies with the same answer.

KB finish the speed bump in fourth. They choose cart.

KI are in last and just arrive.

KI choose horse detour.

KR now attempt the horse task.

They get $6k on their first try. Clue: Make your way to the Dog Rive Hotel. Made famous by Corner Gas. This is the Double U turn location.

SP finally figure out to the switch lol. And are now shoveling 1000 pounds. AA also figure it out.

KI on their first attempt on the horse.

Korey accidentally reduced the amount so they have to restart.

KR uturn SP for uturning them in Ottawa (as revenge).

Clue:  Mae your way to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, make a can sculpture of a maple leaf and the winner of the contest will give them their next clue.

KB are now shoveling the canola. They are in last.

KI finish the horse task in second overall.

This is a completely unbalanced detour. The horse task is way too easy.

SP finish in third.

AA in fourth.

KB are in last still.

Teams 2-4 are literally second behind each other.

We are back. KI arrive to the Uturn.

KI uturn AA wow!

SP are now headed back to the other detour and so is AA.

KR arrive in Moose Jaw's Crescent Park to do the soup task.

KB just hit the 1000 pounds.

KB realize they havent been uturned. Both SP/AA are doing the horse task now.

KR working on the soup but its getting shaky.

KB arrive in second to the soup.

KR finish and ask for a check and are right!

RI: Drive your way to Grandpa's Garden for your next clue.

AA are rejected by the judge wow.

SP on their way to their first attempt.

SP finish their first attempt and are now in fourth. AA are in last.

KB working on the soup. Bert doesn't want to knock down any so they don't have to restart.

KI knock down cans but one is upside down rip.

AA finish the detour.

KR arrive to Grandpas Garden in first.

RB: Who thinks its good to be the queen?

Search through honeycombs and 20k bees and find the queen bee in the hives. Once found they will receive their next clue.

Ryan is doing the rb and gets a check fast and is wrong.

SP arrive while Ivana announces it and their cans drop

KB now get a check and are right. They get their clue.

Andrea: Do not count us out yet.

KI get a check and are wrong. And their tower falls. Andrea announces: my friends that is karma lol!!

Make your way to 15 Wing Moose Jaw Canadian Armed Forces Base, the pitstop of this leg of the race.

Kenneth gets a check and its correct. They are in second.

I'm shocked Adam and Andrea are out. Andrea delivered some great one-liners this episode.

I was sold on Karen and Bert being eliminated but happy they survived.

Korey and Ivana keep surprising me. I thought early on that they would be saved by a non-elimination but they didn't. I predicted them to place 7th and, ever since 7th, they still find a way to be in it despite the directions/bad luck. Amazing....

Need them back for all-stars.

I think we may have the smallest town in the history of TAR on this episode? The RB was in the town of Caron with a population of 120.

Nah. Woody Point in Gros Morne Park, which Jon didn't name on air. The NL Detour/Speed Bump. Like 50 people, but it's a preserved village

This leg was WORSE than I thought! Beekeeping task, Campbell's Soup task and the horse auction

What an odd leg. Surprised about KB surviving the leg, and AA being eliminated. What a weird few days about strong teams being actually knocked-out by a power that race provides to the racers. In some ways that's how it should be used. Brings me memories of Seth and Olive, being eliminated so early into TAR29. Set-up wise I like that there was a W-Turn available in a leg that also featured a Speed Bump, it does allow teams to play with placements and all.

I think the unlimited Uturns uses, stopped bothering me. It was weird, because I was used to the old way, but I kind of like this now. Producers want the boards to be used, so they might shake things up, not left unused. More aggressive racers are more likely to be using the Uturns provided in early legs if they are unlimited, instead of trying to save the power for later. And at least the board is after the completion of a Uturn task, not before.

As an SP fan, was really exciting seeing them being U-turned, yet being able to finish first.

KI matching the Beekman records has been fascinating, from the way they were framed when introduced this season, I was fully expecting them to be one of those physical teams that would excel and almost dominate the race, yet this is not what has happened.

I think we are not that far away from a possible All Stars season. Hoping for it. They've been bringing some old teams back, including S1,  to be featured in that Kristen and Steph commentary series that they upload to the CTV website.

Hi there! I am a huge fun of TAR and TAR-Canada. Unfortunately, on the last episode (Season 5 - Episode 9) I noticed that when the wall made of cans fall from Korey & Ivana, they show that they fall away from them, but then on the replay, they show that they fall towards them!!! Can anybody explain this??

I would say that they had multiple collapses. The first fall away from them occurred when they were looking at the upside-down can. But on the replay, when it falls towards them there is no upside down can, so that probably happened after.

Similarly I think they left out a horse auction. Kenneth & Ryan said that it was todays first horse. Next we are shown Korey & Ivana who present theirs as lot #3. So there seems to have been one more in between.
