Newfoundland's first full leg since season 1. Have been looking forward to this one,  particularly for the viking task :D

Having a stand-up comedy task there is actually fitting. Newfoundland for some reason has produced quite a few of our well-known comedians: Mark Critch, Rick Mercer, Jonny Harris, etc.

Happy about the Face Off, I spent much of my childhood bowling.

Messaged Peach the title yesterday when it finally came up :) Can't remember the last time a title has specificallyspecifically named a racer. The host, sure.

Standup comedy is at Swirsky's Theatre and Music Hall in CB

It suggest Ivana does the comedy routine RB, and that line is part of her routine. It was a good RB for her after her injury + she hasn't done one since Leg 1.

Even if they wanted to go to L'anse aux Meadows, where the actual Viking settlement is, I'm not sure they would have. It's kind of unfortunately geographically located.

It's 5 and a half hours from the rest of the locations driving north at the very top of that peninsula where Newfoundland meets Labrador. Seems excessive for one task.

Now I see where the title comes from thanks to a commercial that was on today. It ain't the standup, Sue.

We have the Canadian equivalent of a certain other bodybuilder from Australia  :funny: They're at the boats. Korey is relieving himself against a cliff, Ivana is in the boat, "How much did you drink?!"

It would've made for an even better Starting Line than Signal Hill, since teams would've had to drive themselves many kilometres just to get to YDF (if the regional St. Anthony Airport were somehow unavailable).

It's blurry, but it looks like a house. Do we suspect that parking lot is near the rowboat task at Woody Point or is it at Corner Brook? Google maps satellite at Woody Point was in winter - which makes it impossible!!!

It was my #1 on my list of suspected startline sites. I still think it's a shame they didn't.
