Great merge ep tbh - Tessa and Michelle screen time was nice. Sarah cooled off enough but remained visible so still the winner pick.

Surprising boot tbh but it sets the tone for a great merge hopefully.

Amazing episode for a merge!
Very innovative RC - loved that! Should totally be reused in a US season, only for immunity I'd say.

Loved the narrative of Samatau being too big to be cohesive. Love how Michelle went from feeling solid with her 8, to realising she was just being told what to do for a number.
Love that Locky has balls to do stuff, not like Lee last season. <3
Tara is amazing and stop hating her pls kthx.
Tessa is a star and should climb back to the top ASAP.
Sarah is the star, whatever her edit/visibility is.

... but it was really predictable that Luke wasn't going anywhere, with the edit he got this episode.

And that sucked.

Agree with pretty much everything you said Marionete. Had Luke a confessional or two it would've spiced it up a little to make the viewer feel a little more on edge, but nevertheless the rest of the episode was edited really well. Both challenges used were pretty great, USA design team needs to step it up, sometimes simple is exciting!

Previously on AusSurv...

Two tribes became one.

The four remaining Asaga looked set to be picked off by the eight Samatau.

But while Samatau sat comfortably, Asaga was wooing old connections.

First Henry, then Michelle, and finally Locky.

Luke was in Samatau's sights... but Asaga showed why you should never write off the underdog, stunning Samatau and taking control with a massive blindside.

The four remain from Asanga look set to be picked off by the eight Samatau.

However, Asanga got together with old numbers.

Come Tribal Council, Luke was in Samatau's sights, but Asanga rallied and got Jarrod out

They think Locky betrayed them. It was either Anneliese or Locky who stayed loyal.

Locky says it wasn't him.

Locky says they believe him hook, line and sinker.

Anneliese says Tessa/Ziggy/Pete are confused because Locky isn't owning up.

Anneliese says Locky was her ally but he lied to Samatau and threw her under the bus. She doesn't trust Locky anymore.

Anneliese wants her four to work with Sarah/Michelle as a group of seven. And take out Locky.

He has control and hasn't used the idol since Day 4.

Henry wants to gain Jericho's trust. Henry brings up the clue he gave to Jericho.
