Previously on TAR Canada, 10 teams flew from St. John's, NL to Vancouver BC.

Aaron & Deb bit the dust. 9 teams remain.

Teams screeched Coast to Coast... at the RB teams walked the line between Ecstasy and Agony. Detour had teams up the creek with the paddle, while others were losing their grip. Kenneth and Ryan won... Aaron and Deb bit the dust.

9 teams remain... prizes... intro

This is Vancouver... this beautiful coastal city will sever as departing point.

Make your way to Fort McMurray Alberta. Then they show a montage of the wildfire. Ken/Ryan left at 1:19 am. (Not sure I missed the time, could be 2:19)

3 express passes up for grabs.

Ivana; waking up is having a goal in mind.

Korey and Ivana - 2:25 am

A/A starting in third. Andrea wants to be involved because Adam did a lot of the physical tasks last leg.

Sam and Paul leave at 2:49am... $90 for this leg of the race.

Zed and Shabbir leave at 3:03, KB leave at 4:32, A/E leave at 4:23 (idk did they mess up the times, as dan and riya are leaving earlier?)

The cousins are in last.

All teams are on the same flight... teams will self drive this leg.

Drive your self to the Wildplay park at Vista Vidge... R/K, KI, A/E, K/V - top 4. They now show Ivana's wartime story when she was 6.

K/B first, K/R arrive at the Vista Ridge in second. Its a RB.

Swing along 50 parts of the course for 3 parts of the clue, find all three to finish. Wh is a riple threat? - rb question. Ken/Karen doing rb.

3 express pases among everything... teams can take all 3 but can only use 1 and must give the others up.

Those are the top 4 teams. Andrea found the first part.

Shabbir is not seeing the clue bags even though its in front of them.

AA stop to get instructions with D/R and K/I. They all took the wrong turn.

Dan: Hwy 69- funny name for a highway 

AA lose the other two teams on the highway. Adam: we are totally screwed.

Courtney and paul will do the rb. Andrea found the second part. Courtney found the first part. Kenneth finds the first express pass.

Shabbir find the first part of the clue. Kenneth found a second express pass.. Riya and Korey doing the rb they are in seventh/eighth.

Dan: If you die, I am taking your name of the youtube channel LOL.

Andrea is first to finish all three clues and is now looking for an express pass.

Ken now find the third!!! express. Amazing.

Paul: They can manipulate teams now with 3 passes.

We are back.

A/E are in first.

Detour: Pump it or Pull it.

Pull it - teams shoot clay targets with a 20 gauge shot gun. They must hit 15 in total. They must rotate every 3 shots.
Push it - 150 challenge - Fire prevention exercise,, carry 120 pump to water preserve, built the pump, then distinguish fire 50 feet away. This is a limited station detour as 5 stations per detour.

Ebonie/Andrea do the push it task. Courtney is the second to finish.

AA are lost still... she puts her window out the window and someone stops. and they gave her instructions.

A/E arrive at the detour. The pump is so heavy for them.

Karen still at one clue. Karen and Kenneth help each other telling the other where the clues are. Kenneth finishes in third. They will do the water task (Push it)

A/E finish dragging the pump. Now they need to figure how to assemble it.

Meg/Courtney are also doing the fire task.. Meg/Courtney are together with AE and helping each other assemble it.

Karen fourth to finish the rb.

Paul is the fifth to finish.

Both teams will do pump it.

A/E realize they need to put the pump in the water lmfao!!

They are now going to put out the fire.

Shabbir finishes the rb in sixth. - they are doing the pump it detour. Riya has 0 clues found.

Andrea is doing the rb for A/A. She is feeling uneasy. She isn't sure how her knee will handle. She find the first clue!

Ken/Ryan are struggling. A/E extinguish the fire... followed bu the cousins.

Clue: Drive to Phoenix-Heli Flight.

Cousins are in first , AE are in second. but one of the cousins needed to put their socks on, while the other munches in the back of the car.

Riya find her first clue. Andrea found the second one, then the third one.


Commercia.

We are back.Ivana: this challenge sucks.

Zed/Shabbir arrive at pump... but they can't do it as 5 teams are doing it. So they do pull it. Zed gets 3 in a row.

K/R finish the fire detour in third overall.

Sam and Paul doing the fire detour. Karen: Husbands do not listen... LMAO.

A/E arrive at the helipad. Helicopters are important. They must solve a weight math problem to keep a helicopter in the air.  This a route info task..

Cousins arrive at the helipad. They say its easy lmao. They know what to do... because Meg is a biomed student lol.

Sam and Paul have trouble communicating lmao. They finish in fourth.

Korey find the third clue and they leave the rb in eighth. Riya also finds it but they are in last.

AA arrive at the shooting task, as Zed and Shabbir finish they are in fifth.

Andrea gets her first shot... While Adam misses it.

K/R hate math with a passion.

The cousins get a check and are in first!!!

Fly in a helicopter to -- Macdonald Island Park, then go to the Miskana Golf Course 16th hole ... this is the pitstop.

AE get a check and are in second.

Cousins get emotional in the helicopter as they are seeing the destruction of the fire.

KB now finally get their pump to work and are in sixth after finishing the detour.

Adam finally gets a shot at the shooting detour, and they finish in 7th.

Sam and Paul arrive at the helipad. K/R get a check and are wrong. Sam and Paul get a check and are correct. They are in third.

We are back KR are struggling and are going to tempt other teams to help them with the EP.

Karen and Bert doing the RB. They get it and are in fourth. THey were incorrectly placed in sixth. KR give an express to KB and they give them the answers.

Youtube arrives at the the detour in last.

M/C arrive at the pitstop in first!  Prize: Trip for two to Auckland, New Zealand.

A/E finish in second.

Korey and Ivana/Youtube struggling at the detour.

Dan gets his first shot.

Sam and Paul are third.

Zed and Shabbir get a check and are wrong at the helipad. AA are doing the task. They are whispering lol.. for no reason.

They are working together.

Korey and Ivana are now getting the detour and finish.

There seems to be two confessional sites for this leg...  weird.

Both have one shot to make.

Ivana has to teach math and she knows how to do it lol..

Shabbir gets it and tells AA.

Korey and Ivana get a check and are in eighth.

Dan and Riya are right behind them... in last.

Next time: Castlegar, BC.  Swining rb sort of like First RB in TAR27 france leg. . Detour: Mud building, and steel making.

Really?? shout out for all to hear that you have 3 EP's?? Complete lack of strategy!

Continue to really enjoy Adam and Andrea! Fun to watch.

LOVED how the ladies unexpectedly rocked this leg. So envious of the prize!!

and very very touched by the highlighting of what this community and the firefighters went through and are still living with. Loved that Karen took the time to thank each firefighter. Hope they had a way to donate posted somewhere!

My thought was that there are 3 pieces to the clue, so why not 3 express passes. I think there was no strategy behind them screaming it out... but now everyone knows they have it... which can be a blessing (ie trade for help) or a curse (as teams now will want to flush it out, ie a uturn is coming).

Life appears back to normal in Fort Mac, but in BC next door fires are raging... and some of these fires are near next weeks leg

I currently have calculated the averages of each team, and the averages of non-eliminated teams are almost even after two legs, due to a lot of shuffling in placements.

Four teams currently have an average of 5, another two have averages off of 5 by 0.5, and two other teams have averages of 3 and 3.5 (K&R and S&P, respectively).

M&C join a rare club of teams of going from last to depart the second leg, to first in the second leg, and are one of the four teams with average of 5, the others being K&B (who have an EP), A&A, and K&I. Z&S have an average of 5.5, and A&E have a 4.5 average (which really makes you think that their average would be so much higher without the 2 hour penalty).

K&R seem to be the top dogs, but they do have weaknesses. However, they also still hold 2 EPs (one for themselves, the other to coerce a team for aid in the next leg for the EP). S&P seem to be the consistent top pack team (though I see their success landing them short), while Z&S, despite having the lowest average of teams still in the race, are also consistent in being a mid-pack team that could sneak into the top pack later in the race.

NOT A GOOD LEG??? Better than Leg-1 and was incredible! I loved it. If u really understood the fires and the connections and devastation u wood find it better! Besides, the tasks were pretty awesome! I liked the rb and 3 EP's untill K&R got all 3

Going full international is never going to happen for two reasons: they have their niche; and budget. The latter is the major sticking point after the loss of Air Canada as the major sponsor.

Trying to understand how they were getting so lost in a city with only 1 highway out, I mapped the places.

Starting point = Airport
A = Roadblock
B = Detour

D/E = Helicopter landing/Pit Stop
