Also, if you are watching anything but the CTV feed, it is your responsibility to be sure you are not ahead of us if you want to post/update in this thread.

We start with stunning shots of Newfoundland, he mentions Newfoundland then St. Johns, as we celebrate Canada's 150th birthday.

Teams are being transported by boat to the Queens Battery.

Now team introductions...

After team introductions...

Now its time to Start Canadas favourite summer time adventure... intro. The team names have a different style... a mix of the US/old Canadian style.

Jon: We have some special Canadian surprised coming your way, then he introduces the prize for the season. A car for each, a trip for 2 around the world and 250k!

Jon: Good luck, make Canada proud, race safe, GO!

Clue: Make your way to Signal Historical Site, first place where transatlantic transmission was received. Decode Morse code which says Vancouver, Capilano Bridge. Teams will then get their next clue + BMO card for purchases.

Deb is already out of breath.

Zed and Shabbir know Morse code! And finish first, but they are wrong, they guessed Vancouver Island.

The cousins try Hello smth lol and are wrong.

Dan and Riya guess Victoria Hill/Village are wrong.

Ryan/Adam guess a letter and are wrong.

Ebonie and Andrea are taking a penalty!! omg

Fly: To Vancouver BC, from one of two flights. 5 teams will be on first flight.

Zed and Shabbir guess again and are right!

They have 600!!! dollars for this leg of the race.

All other teams are strugling.

Paul/Sam, Adam/Andrea/ Ryan/Adam 3-5th finishing the morse code. They shared answers. Those are the five teams on the first flight.

Andrea and Ebonie are shocked the son/father got it. And they see the other teams, and regret taking the penalty.

We are back...

They are using the airplane font from the USA version.

Everyone asking Deb and Aaron what they are doing lmao!

Teams are flying via Toronto.

Teams are looking for a falconer on the bridge.

all 10 teams have arrived... we were not told how far flights are a part. Deb to the taxi driver: we are on a budget LOL!

Karen: Do we jump into a cab, Bert: at some point we have too.

Adam and Andrea first to get the clue.

Next clue: Find the Gassy Jack Statue.

The cousins caught up with the first flight!

Andrea and Ebonie first to the statue. Its a rb.

Who is feeling uptight? - rb question. Tight rope traverse. This is deemed a Canada 150 challenge.

Ebonie is doing the rb.

Sam is doing the rb. They left the cab go.

Ryan is doing the rb.

Ebonie is doing the rb on the screen now... she is going slow. She wants to finish it in one shot so the penalty doesnt weight as much. Ebonie falls! omg this is scary.

Shabbir, Megan and Deb, Ivana, Adam are doing the rb.

Ryan attempts it and falls. Megan is now attempting it, and she also falls.

Karen and Bert are now going to gassy jack are last .Dan is doing the rb, and he says its going to be a nightmare lmao.

Ebonie doing it now. Ryan is behind here. I think 2 teams can go at one time.

Ebonie finishes it!

Ryan follows right behind.

Ebonie is crying now lmao.

Detour: Pedal or Paddle.

Pedal: Sunset Beach, complete bike polo training drills.
Paddle: False Creek, choose dragon boat, one is a paddler, one is a steerer, once the team navigates the boat successfully they will get their next clue.

Now a Sinorama commercial... the very first one I have ever seen ever.

We are back...

Karen and Bert still looking for the right hotel.

Megan now retrying the rb.... and she finishes it in third. They are doing paddle.

Paul falls doing the rb (he is doing it not Sam).

Deb falls , Shabbir falls.

Shabbir: Courage is a choice.

Andrea and Ebonie at the polo detour. They are struggling and cannot do this.

Kenneth and Ryan arrive at the boat detour. They mess up the first chance.

Ivana doing the rb now. She finishes it in one shot. What a queen <3 They are in fourth. They are doing bike.

The cousins now arrived at the boat detour. They too mess up the first shot.

Adam fails at the rb. Now he is sliding using his butt... and finishes it. They are in fifth and choose the boat detour.

Andrea and Ebonie now trying the bike detour. They finish the first drill.

Korey and Ivana arrive at the bike.

Paul now doing the detour agian and finishes in sixth.

Shabbir trying it again in seventh.

Ken/Ryan finish the boat detour. They are in first place.

Clue:

Vandusen Botanical Garden - pitstop. Find the Maze and the pitstop is right in the middle.

Adrea and Ebonie now finish the detour in second.

Karen and Bert arrive at the detour. Bert doing it. He is dragging himself instead of walking. They are in 8th.

Deb is now attempting it again and falls of the line. Deb feels really dizzy. She lies down and feels nauseous. omg...

We are back...

Aaron goes up to see Deb. She tries the rb again.

Dan now trying the rb and finishes it in 9th.

They choose to do pedal.

Deb finishes the rb... and are in last and doing the pedal detour.

Cousins now attempting the boat detour.

They are now switching detours.

Korey and Ivana now doing the bike detour and finish. They are in third.

Ken and Ryan arrive at the pitstop. Andrea and Ebonie right behind them.

Ken and Ryan arrive are in first. Their prize: Trip for 2 to Barcelona Spain is the prize.

Andrea and Ebonie are in 2nd. They have been give a 2 hour penalty.

Adam and Andrea finish the boat detour in fourth.

Sam and Paul finish that detour in fifth.

The cousins are at the bike detour.

Zed/Shabbir Karen and Bert are also doing the detour.

Zed and Shabbi are fifth. Karen and Bert are 6th.

Cousins finish first drill... Funeral also finishes first drill. Andrea and Ebonie's penalty finishes and are in 7th.

and are eliminated from the race.

Next time: Fort McMurray Alberta. Helicopters, trap shooting. Firefighting challenge.

I was shocked that Andrea & Ebonie were 1) Allowed to be on the 1st flight, and 2) Didn't get an additional penalty for time gained by being on the first flight. That was terrible.

Besides that, I thought the leg was good. Loved the opening task with Morse Code, and they should've made that a task that you couldn't quit.

The falconer was nice to see, as I've seen that falcon before -> http://i.imgur.com/wYE2gQH.jpg

Gassy Jack was a good visit, though I was a bit worried of someone tripping over the chains, as the doofus writing this comment has done.

RB was okay, detour was good, and a maze to the pit stop was fine, though it could've been great if two teams got there at the same time, and they tried to find the pit stop first.

The strongest team seems to be Korey & Ivana so far.

Yeah. Sounds like a Roadblock hint, though. Either producer named, or a second Roadblock was cut that we didn't see.

agreed too at andrea & ebonie being allowed to take the first flight wtf??? they really should have been on the second flight without any lead. i like them so far but =/

The clue for the polo task read get by a defender...but aside from one shot of a not close guy on a bike I saw no one actively blocking shots into the net. What happened there?

And re the Maze: Can't believe no one put their partner up on their shoulders for a better view!

Overall fun episode though... STill not sure of the rationale of going straight to Vancouver though.

Who most impressed you? I thought the sister (Andrea) was adorable and will be fun to watch!

My guess is symbolism of the coast to coast to mark 150... admittedly a bad connection
