I'm looking forward to see this leg, not only because it's an underused country, but also because we don't know a lot about it!  :conf:

For me, it's all about the video games.

From the article:
Quote
I can't imagine the challenge requiring that Poongko be defeated a match, or even a round as I think it is unlikely that anyone without exceptional knowledge of the game would stand a chance against him.
It's an interesting point. I'm not a gamer, so let me ask...can Street Fighter matches be handicapped? During the Shanghai table tennis task, the opponents were made to use clipboards, frying pans, etc. The only alternative to handicapping I see is that the opponents (the professionals) were told to spar for a few rounds then lay down and play dead.

Time to fire up the "wayback machine" again, to see what we all missed!

Turns out I hinted at a possible "gaming" theme way back in March 29th, when spoiling the PRE-SEASON PROMOS.
Took eleven episodes before anyone chimed it.   :groan:

Because the preview showed Brooke & Scott welcoming & hugging London & Logan, presumably at the Pit Stop, and we predict that Brooke and Scott win the Leg due to the Final Memory Challenge spoilers, can we expect LoLo to arrive 2nd?

Sunset in Seoul on June 30th, 2016 was 7:57 pm local time, the teams arrived in the city around 4:30 in the afternoon. The drive from Incheon Airport to Seoul is 1 or 1 1/2 hour by taxi.

Could be; the only two reasons I can think of for hugs and hi-fives are a pit stop or a good time for an early release the next morning. I double-checked the camera angles and it's definitely Gangnam station/M square. Two distinctive  buildings are in the background (see here).

Some B-roll shots of Seoul, specifically the area around historic Dongdaemun - East Gate (aka Heunginjimun Gate).

Tbh, while i'm bitching and being sceptimistic about stacking cups and. Vid game (the vid games is cool concept actually but...)  i'm still excited about the penultimate leg...

And i wanna see K-pop be done at night, it will be cool to see... If this happen i'm gonna freak out... ( but it should best in ARI )

And cooking Korean cuisine it's actually cool since we rarely have literally cooking task actually last t one was cooking fish back in Colombia S28 )

Teams are waving their clues...more like a start than a finish maybe? ???

OK, time for all our members hoping for a KPOP challenge to step up and do some detective work.  Since I'm not able to view the preview video directly, can't tell if the outdoor singers/dancers at Gangnam station are actual KPOP idols or just extras.  If there is a song playing, can anyone identify it, so we can see if the singers are real KPOP idols hired for the show.  Might even get lucky and match the pix with some actual stars. Or maybe not.  Worth a try.   }:>

The jingle in the promo sounds like a KPOP song and ends with "It's Amazing Race". The song is definitely something produced for the leg.

4 tasks  :hoot: probably the longest penultimate leg in a while? (The last one with more than 3 tasks are S19, but that was separated in two countries)

Looks like Brooke & Scott and LoLo are the frontrunners for this leg. And Mom&Dad and TheBoys will battle it out not to be in last. I will guess that the video game RB is the task prior to pitstop and Tara/Joey were last in it (picture of Joey frustrated) but managed to survive due to taxi problems of Matt/Redmond.
Chance favors prepared minds.
