Worst episode of Survivor ever. A big, sincere f*** you to the editors.

Did the TAR27 editing team come and edit this season?

Judging from the promo, Tai gives his idols to Brad and Troyzan? Instead of using it at the next two tribal councils to get to the final 4? Seems quite dumb but maybe there's some explanation in the next episode.

Whoops, I just realised Troyzan still has his own idol. So Tai could just be giving one of them to Brad.

Aubry goes home by default

Why does nobody believe in Aubry.

I DONT GET SARAH'S GAME PLAY

CIRIE READ FINE PRINT OMG

NOOOOOOOOOOOO SARAH THAT'S SO STUPID.

I'm thoroughly confused by this season. So many big moves but it doesn't make me happy? Idk

Cirie's biggest flaw in her game play is getting rid of Andrea at F8. The only chance she has to get to the end is with Andrea to be honest.

Omg this season is confusing me.

Actually I know what is it. Which is CIRIE screwing up her game and she won't win and I'm
confused and frustrated with her not being able to execute good moves to survive till the final 3.

Or why did CIRIE vote Andrea. I HATE IT

i don't like watching 2 episodes in 43 minutes, the impact is the editing  :res: :res:

Sarah wins immunity
Gives legacy advantage to Cirie

After what Cirie did to Sarah at tribal?  I don't think so  :D

Because. We. Don't. Know. Why. The. Target. Became. Michaela.

Because Cirie & Michaela tried to blindside Sarah, so i think Sarah told Tai to voted for Michaela because she is good in challenges. It was good move by Sarah

I didn't like how the advantage was non transferable. :groan:

In a game where a risk should come with a consequence (like a tie vote going to rocks), Sarah should have paid the price for giving Cirie the advantage.

Cirie is done if she doesn't manipulate the others and pull out workable game-changing moves.

Cirie & Michaela are so close, so i think that was the time for Sarah to break that duo, especially after Cirie tried to steal Sarah's vote

The editing sucks because the editors have failed to provide a common, continuous narrative for the seasons. With so many contestants to focus on (esp. since all the big names that people will demand an edit for left premerge) and a plethora of twists designed to manufacture drama, each episode feels disjointed with the focus on a BIG MOVE, but in a far worse manner than MvGX. Motivations are not shown, aside from the possible exception of Sarah. Even though Cirie was given a fair amount of content, she did not express her logic behind the Andrea boot, despite the edit showing the two to be incredibly close while ignoring the Cirie-Sarah bond, hence why the latter seemed so random. And then Michaela was never discussed as a boot. Even if Sarah did come up with it and explained it to the men at Tribal, the least the editors could do was subtitle a snippet of a conversation. But instead they tried to cram two important boots into 45 minutes, while delegating a significant portion to challenges and Sarah's coronation, resulting in an episode that featured two boots that shifted the game, but the monumentality of it all is lost on the viewer. The only redeeming editing bit of the episode was that Aubry finally got more than 1 confessional. With the proper editing, the shift that occurred through Sarah once again flipping would make more sense, especially combined with Cirie and Michaela explaining their rationale for blindsiding Andrea. But all that valuable footage was lost in favor of putting ill-contrived twist after ill-contrived twist.

This.
I caught up with the last 4 episodes yesterday and although on paper they should be amazing, I'm really lacking something...?
If Cirie wasn't still in, this season would be dead.

But this season feels really dry as a whole.
We've only had a couple emotional moments with Cirie, but what else?
Not speaking about the pre-merge, because it was amazing however it went, and had proper drama, but this season lacks character development and/or touching, personal, strategy-unrelated content.

Like, Millenials vs. Gen X had Zeke & Brett storyline, David's growth story, Adam's mother (although it was shoved down our throats :res:) and others.
In Kaoh Rong, we had a lot of emotions with the evacuations and close relationships that got ruined, like Debbie & Aubry. There were proper villains to root against and there was Tai with his entire rollercoaster story.

I wasn't a fan of MvGX due to the underwhelming winner (yes, even Michele was slightly better), but, in retrospect, that season and especially Kaoh Rong, were far more enjoyable that Game Changers.

There are way too many advantages (that are all still in the game bar the vote steal :groan:) and everyone is like a gamebot without any feelings. That's what I'm missing at least. :)
