You can read our TimeLine. Other than that no bootlists please. RFF chooses for all the TAR's to 1) not reveal the final 3 unless we have direct photo evidence like we did in Chicago. And 2) to NEVER reveal the final 3 Finish order. From experience, we know that this ruins the fun of the show ending...and the SHOW is more important than the SPOILERS...bottom line.

So no bootlists here please. Locations and tasks 100% though! Thanks!

Previous seasons had Final 3 order revealed, but we stopped doing that after the TAR season that shall not to be named, to not ruin the fun of the show's ending, especially after what happened in that season...

Orange bridge in Nelson is a Roadblock, Andrea is one of the performers. Just saw a new commercial that included Ebonie yelling "you're awesome!" from the other end.

Per Ep 3 preview at end of Ep2, Detour seems to be pottery or blacksmith. Selkirk College has programs for both. I seem to remember a sighting there, but I cannot find it now.

Maanca's right. It was there yesterday. Opened when Maanca found the ep title.

Check sightings in Beijing spoilers, only seen seven teams racing in the city and Shanghai.

Just curious if Thailand was a difficult country to get sightings in the US visits? Them getting in and out completely undetected is pretty awesome.

Also, despite the U-Turn, my hunch is the Ottawa Ontario/Gatineau Quebec leg when they get back might be another NEL. Being the capital region, the locations seen, CTV Twitter actually inviting people out, that leg is likely going to be the bread-and-butter of the Canada 150 theme (the leg that makes them talk about being patriotic)

Not a kind of leg I'd expect an elimination on.

Memory challenge theory
« Reply #289 on: July 29, 2017, 11:23:34 PM »
After 4 episodes, seeing a pattern that could be the memory challenge this year: Animals. Each episode has had one somewhere all the racers would have seen

Leg 1-The falcon at the bridge
Leg 2-Phoenix Heli-Flights (mythical, but still a creature). Or buffalo, as in the Wood Buffalo region
Leg 3-Oso Negro coffee. Translates to "black bear", one is in their logo.
Leg 4-Greeter's birdcage with budgies

Leg 5, cats, as mjharmstone found, this leg will visit the Caturday Cafe from TAR26

And sightings showed the U-Turn coming up in Leg 6 is in front of a place called "Beaver Tails"

The history of Thai spottings in American TAR is indeed scanty:

Season 26 - just one video of teams at Patong Beach during the evening, but no photographs of them racing in daytime Bangkok (just at Suvarnabhumi Airport after the fact)

Season 19 - zero photographs whatsoever, just random Tweets in/around the Phuket area (see footnote)

Season 14 - photographs of the Phaya Thai Palace PitStop, but none of the teams racing through BKK itself

FOOTNOTE: Curiously, Australia versus New Zealand did have images of its teams doing tasks in Thailand (Leg 3 of 10) uploaded to Instagram months before airing.

Agreed on the upcoming leg in the capital being a Final Six non-elimination, the precedents being the very first Nova Scotia episode as well as the one in the third season with the Magdalene Isles.

We actually had extensive pics in Thailand...but not all photos can be shared for various reasons.

This raises a possibility for the F4 in Sault Ste. Marie leg that went nearly undetected :)

Maybe they flew into Thunder Bay and took a bus the 8 hour stretch around the head of Lake Superior. Such a bus service exists. Not exactly a highly populated highway, hence no sightings. Sault Airport does not fly from Regina.

2 hours north of Sault along that highway is a town called Wawa. The most well-known landmark being a giant statue of a Canada goose. One of our national symbols.

Thanks a bunch.

Wondering if the elimination sequence below will hold for the rest of the season:

7th - the Dhallas or les Girls
6th - the Dhallas, les Girls, or the Richardses
5th - the Dhallas, les Girls, the Richardses, or the Cavaleris
4th - surviving team from the above four

No surprises for the eliminations so far. I think Andrea and Ebonie will be eliminated in 6th. Their placements are all up and down (down-up-down-down-up); next leg has good chance at being down.

5th might be the Richards. Edit is weak for them and they are still "just in it".

4th might be the surprise elimination of the Cavaleris.

That could be right. And so it seems next leg will be a W-Turn with a F6 EL at the end of the said leg.

Episode 6: Ottawa/Gatineau, Andrea and Ebonie potentially out
Episode 7: Corner Brook, F5 NEL
Episode 8: Panama City, Karen and Bert out
Episode 9: Regina, F4 NEL
Episode 10: Sault Ste Marie, Adam and Andrea out
Episode 11: Quebec City, Finalists Kenneth and Ryan, Korey and Ivana & Sam and Paul

We don't know if Ottawa is an Elimination Leg... (Unless I missed something)

What we know:

Karen and Bert spotted in Newfoundland
Adam and Andrea spotted in Panama
Our final 3 teams...

Is Ottawa is an EL, then the girls a done
But if its an NEL, then either the girls or K/B are eliminated in NFL
Then the surviving team + A/A in either Panama/Regina

So basically the girls could be the next team eliminated OR go as far as final 4!

Thirded.

CAN1's sequence was the same as 14 (7-5-4).
CAN2's was 20 (8-6-5).
CAN3's was without equivalent (8-5).
CAN4's was 26 (9-6-5).

Rule out Ottawa as the F6 elimination given the precedents of CAN1 Episode 8 as well as CAN3 Episode 5.
Rule out Panama as the F5 NEL given last year's precedent in a culturally similar Latin American nation as well as 29 being too recent.

Therefore,the CAN5 sequence will be a replica of 21 (7-6-4).
