Well at least, knowing Canada's style of leg designs, you can count on there being more tasks than Roadblock, Detour, Pit Stop.

Costa Rica's just a short drive from there.  They have a direct highway connection.
Down the waterfall, wherever it may take me.

Looks like the canal webcams (the obvious first place to look) are down ATM. What unfortunate timing :P

Maybe we can salvage something later :)

I wonder how teams made it to Panama undetected. Toronto?

Based on the plaque of Capitan Raul Chevalier, the clue box is located at Plaza de Francia

We should be at 5 teams if this is leg 8 and, by 8 couples, the poster should be referring to 4 teams.

So they haven't been to Europe since season 2. Central America is cool though i wonder if they will stop in Costa Rica.

I'm trying to map out this season and it looks like we could have another final 4 non-elim (last one was season 1).

Assuming its 11 legs, we need to eliminate 7 teams in 10 legs, meaning we have 3 non-elims (or KOR legs).

1st 3 legs are elim since 7 teams made it to China. So, between legs 4-10 are 3 non-elims (or KOR legs).

Here's the possibilities (bold is what I think is the most probable based on our current info):
4: 7 team non-elim or 7 team to 6 elim
5: 7 team to 6 elim or 6 team non-elim
6: 6 team non- elim or 6 team to 5 elim (U-turn legs have been eliminations or KOR legs)
7: 6 team to 5 team or 5 team non-elim
8: 5 team non-elim or 5 team to 4 elim
9: 5 team to 4 elim or 4 non-elim
10: 4  team elimination
11: Final 3

Doubt they would do 2 final 5 non-elims in a row.

Touching down in Regina may not necessarily mean a leg there. They could head to Moose Jaw half an hour away...which I'd be alright with. One of my favourite cities from my cross-country travels!

It's possibly a self-driving leg as cars were sighted at the airport last night.

From Twitter (yesterday)
Brad Farquhar‏ @bradfarquhar  16 mai
There's a fleet of identical cars incorrectly parked at #YQR and a guy guarding them. Can you say #amazingracecanada?

YQR is Regina.... 5 cars?

I see 10 cars - Chevrolet Cruzes I believe. Strange - just one Cruze hatchback though. (number 8 - white) The rest are sedans.

Maybe 1 set for teams, and one for extra camera?
If there was 6 teams in Ottawa, and then we had that leg + 2 other, it's safe to say we are final 4 or final 5.

I know Peach said there was 7 teams in China, but we never figured out who was that last 7th team who was eliminated in China right?

Also, could this picture, from Mark Lysakowski's IG be from the park behind Saskatchewan's Royal museum?https://www.instagram.com/p/BUKoQnMl7FF/?taken-by=mlysakow

The same place as Season's 1 pitstop!

Wow, not much came out of this leg. I'd been through that Trans-Canada/Highway 35 corridor (which Rouleau is on) corridor enough when first moving west to know the towns. Plugged them all in, nothing.

They must have been somewhere quite rural.

Ummmm.....

Saw this:
Randy comes home "So I think I'm gunna be on Amazing Race Canada.... But I'm pretty sure I'm only gunna be on the blooper reel. They needed a directions guy, I wasn't the best option.."

:funny:

Yeah, noticed that. Both apparently live in Regina, but are originally from the right area. The friend is from Estevan (small city close to the ND border), the other from Macoun (a little village near there)

Yup, nothing. Spot checked everything.

I think our sightings this year are a record low.

For the curious:
Season 1: 17 pages -current record
Season 2: 11
Season 3: 12
Season 4: 15
Season 5: 6 currently

Is it me or the girl in the Starbucks picture has the same top as Andrea had in Shanghai? (pink, and the same shape)

Assuming this is 9 and there's 2 legs left, I'd guess a northern final 4 leg and a Winnipeg finale (that would fill in every province except the 3 Maritimes since a Route Marker did send them just over Quebec's border). Or vice-versa.

Of course there could be one lass cross-country jump, as they've done plenty on this route, for a Maritime leg.

Yeah, a leg in the north could be possible... Or maybe a full leg in Quebec, they usually always have a full leg so we will see...

As for the finale, I say very good chance we have a Winnipeg finale, with an outside chance of Edmonton, or maybe even Fredericton (link with Canada 150)

Fredericton is the only unvisited capital. It is one of the smaller cities in the province.

As for Saskatchewan, my best guess as to where they could have completely avoided detection is the Big Muddy  Badlands/Castle Butte rock formation 2 hours south of Moose Jaw (most of the bottom edge of SK is a desert landscape. It'd look great on TV).

Or possibly the Qu'appelle Valley NE of Regina.

Moose Jaw has 50,000 people. Chances are they'd have been seen.

Wish I could have helped more on this one, having almost moved here in 2005. I searched everything I know.
