They could be doing a mixed leg between Castlegar & Nelson, similar to the Okanagan leg in S3.

Nelson girl deleted the tweet. NDA???

No, I think what happened

I asked for her details, and then someone I know, who by chance must follow her too, immediately cut in about not wanting to see TARC spoilers. Basically blowing the cover :(

With Canada's 150th Independence coming up, do you guys think it's possible that this entire season will stay in Canada, maybe as a sort of celebration?

Good pics

Team #6 and #9 safe through Leg 2. Picture in article is a better shot of #9's faces.

Thank you, local media :P

It seems like this season is following last season's filming pattern. There seems to be a main film day and a break in between.

4/26 Startline
4/27 Main Film Day for Leg 1
4/28 Break
4/29 Main Film Day for Leg 2
4/30 Break and Transition to Leg 3
5/1 Main Film Day for Leg 3

If I remember correctly, this was the general format they used for last year. With ten teams, the breaks seem to be longer.

i have a gut feeling this year won't have any international legs  :groan:

why else would they waste pointless money on a logistically flawed route (so far)?

Unless the race could have 50/50 with international legs in a circumnavigational route westward from BC.

Guessing they could pop up at YVR or Pearson. If they're going international at all, surely it would be by leg 4.

Another sighting via Fbook.

Waiting at the Smithers Gate in Van for our plane to come... then a plan lands and like 40 camera people get off....then once they are set up...the rest of the plane races off...the Amazing Race Canada runs through... sorry no vids or pics too busy keeping the Twinjas out of the race !

Hmm, there is a twin team, #1

And Leafs' video of them getting in the cab in Vancouver has gotta be old, she just didn't post it right away. It's all edited up. No way there's 3 legs in BC lol

I think the reference to "twinjas" was to the poster's own children.
There was an earlier flight that arrived. Maybe that was it. Even a couple of teams with their crew can seem like many to an onlooker.
Agreed there is no way for another leg here, but I am thinking they may have to overnight here and check-in.

They didn't come in all at once. There was a previous Twitter at approx 2:18 PT. Teams unknown. Then 3 sightings that occurred 4:41 PT which seem to involve 3 teams only.

I'm happy with a mainland China leg (mostly because it means we have some international legs haha).
I'm guessing they are going to do 2 legs in Asia (99% sure just in China) but maybe another country?

As for the rest of the leg, we always have one leg in Ontario, one in Quebec and one int he Atlantic.
And for the finale leg, it's always been in big cities, I'm going to guess a finale in Winnipeg, because it's a big city and we haven't been to Manitoba since season 2!

I do really think half of the race is possibly International that could be racing across Asia and Europe, it would be back to Canada later in the race (New Brunswick, Ontario/Quebec and Manitoba) within circumnavigation route. Europe hasn't visited since season 2.

Beijing opens up all of Asia for them, but assuming they're staying within China and the next leg is tomorrow they could be on one of these.  China has so many airlines that between major cities, flights are approx. once an hour, there are tons daily.  My money is on Xian, due to the Terra Cotta Warriors, but there are amazing landmarks in all of these destinations that would make great TV, and flying back to Canada from all of them is not hard, the airlines work with Air Canada.

Xian -

China Airlines 1231 PEKXIY 0735 0945

Shanghai -

China Airlines 1835 PEKPVG 0800 1015
China Eastern 271 PEKPVG 1305 1520

Guilin -
