Update: All 3 Air Canada (Canada-bound) flights today (Sunday May 7) are now en route, and all three are delayed:
AC26 to Vancouver new ETA 11:50 AM PT (2:50 PM ET)
AC18 to Montreal new ETA 7:02 PM ET
AC28 to Toronto new ETA 8:04 PM ET

Based on the flights WindsorSue put in the transportation thread, I'm thinking they are going to Toronto and then make their way to their next destination. I doubt its Montreal.

No it won't be Montreal, but it could be a possile leg just outside of Montreal - there are several important cities, or Mtl could be a connection. Same is true of Toronto.

You're thinking Ontario, Quebec, but I don't want to rule out them being done with the west yet. Manitoba hasn't been visited since S2, there's a couple good options besides Winnipeg there.

I never meant to rule out any options west of Ontario. I was commenting Toronto vs Montreal. We should know when that YVR flight lands, as IMO that would seem the more logical and quicker connection for any leg west of Ontario. Let's hope we get a sighting!

It's probably unlikely, but...Flin Flon. It straddles the border between SK and MB (it's mostly in the latter).

That would be two birds with one stone  :funny:

Mark Lysakowski just posted on instagram a picture of Toronto from the sky... So I guess they took the Shangai-Toronto flight

Wonder where next leg's gonna be. Toronto's really the air travel gateway to anywhere.

IDK. The actual arrival was 7:32 PM....maybe if they circled, but I'm not sure if they circled that far east of Pearson. That flight approached from the NNW.

Please let this Toronto flight be only a connection, or at least, they self-drive somewhere in SW Ontario.

I am legitimately scared right now of the possibility of this being Toronto leg #3. They just did it with Vancouver, lol

Now he posted a new picture in Montreal....
Is this real? :P maybe he is with production and the teams are arriving tomorrow?

If the race is really coming here, I think we may have a leg on the south shore (There are a few forts related to the new France period, and the American war of 1812.

Lol why are you scared? Toronto is an amazing city and they could seriously spend every leg there with legs to spare!

I think that restaurant is in the Palais des Congres (Convention Centre) ??? There are a few hotels there. He would have taken/posted that pic abt 11 PM last night. I also think he may have taken a different route back to Canada, maybe AC32 from Beijing (landed TO at 6:50 last night)
If it's real and he's not trolling us then I think you are correct. There's Drummondville, Shawinigan, Victoriaville, Sherbrooke or even Trois Rivieres. All viable locations.

Yeah I'd be skeptical about Ottawa, too.

CTV carries the show. One of their own local stations posting a filming spoiler?

It's probably just a promotional teaser for the show coming back/trying to throw us off the trail

I'm not buying it until we see teams.
Too much publicity.
Too many people want to go to the board.

Weren't Steph & Kristin in Ottawa already?
Carleton U is holding an Amazing Race event but it's on campus.
ByWard market would be a big locale if true...they didn't go there for S2 finale.

Steph and Kristin are currently in Halifax.  But they had to go to Ottawa for Canada's 150th, just like they're prob going to Montreal for Quebec's 375th.  But Byward market is an awesome place, one of the best in Ottawa, so it makes sense.

Wonder where they actually are, maybe some isolated community.

Hard to hide in southern Ontario where it's heavily populated.

Well, I guess we don't actually have confirmation that they're even IN Canada, we're going off a post on Mark's IG. Could have been a third consecutive intl leg  :hoot:

I'm worried they did go international and this U-turn is for a future leg. If this U-turn is for a future leg, then it's not appearing in the same place. Then again, it wasn't removed all the sites reporting it.
