EP 26

In a dramatic end to her stay in the BIG BROTHER House, Adria, at the very threshold of departure, gives the HouseGuests a piece of her mind. First, she says her favorite moment was the day when Natalie came into the House, a moment that the other HouseGuests may not have wanted to recall. Adria adds that she's learned a lot about people in the House by being on the block for the week, and that she will take that into consideration when she is voting on the Jury. Then, as though she has just heard a voice, she says, "Natalie says she feels the same way. So that's two votes."

This sets Marvin off, and he fires back, unwilling to take Adria's guff lying down. They jaw for a while, and then a smiling Adria makes her way out of the BIG BROTHER House. Drew wins the Head of Household Competition, but before he can savor the moment, he discovers that it's a double eviction week and he will only be HoH for a brief 48 hours.

ADRIA CAMPAIGNS, MARVIN SCHEMES

With an admirable never-say-die attitude, Adria continues to try to sway what votes she can, beginning with Karen. As Adria talks with Karen in the backyard, Diane dishes about how the House has nicknamed Adria "The Plague." Aware of how little she is appreciated, Adria remarks, "The other three (Marvin, Diane, Nakomis) can't even say my name." Adria goes so far as to try to woo Karen late at night, telling her, "I have been totally myself with you except for a few little details in the middle." To which Karen replies, "Well, those were kinda big details."

Adria moves on from Karen to her former partner in bible study, Drew. Adria lays it on thick about trust and relationships, specifically with respect to Diane. As it happens, Diane is walking by just as this conversation is going on. Drew says that Adria should never feel like she can't talk to him.

Saying that nobody is on her side, Adria begins talking to herself poolside: "I feel like the only way to stay off the block is to have an alliance." But nobody is there to hear her plea.

The real action in the House comes from Marvin trying to split up the Diane/Drew alliance with a little old-fashioned flirting and sowing seeds of distrust. "I want Drew not to trust Diane, and Diane not to trust Drew." Marvin makes a move on Diane, nothing too overt, but a move nonetheless, and Diane kisses Marvin on the chest. Cowboy sees this and runs to tell Drew, which works perfectly for Marvin. Drew sits on the information and later confronts Diane, who is crestfallen at Drew's attack. Drew pretends that he actually wants to stop seeing her, bringing Diane to the verge of tears when he finally relents and says he was just kidding. Even though their tiff is resolved, Diane feels a need to confront Cowboy.

MARVIN AND JULIE CHAT IT UP

Julie Chen asks Marvin why he wants to get rid of Adria when early on they seemed to be so close. Marvin is intimidated by Adria's ability to play the game. She's strong physically and mentally. His reasoning is that it's a strategic decision. Julie then reminds Marvin that he hasn't joined any alliances to date and wonders if he might now that the game is nearing its final days. Marvin replies that he has joined forces with Diane. When Julie asks if he thinks he can trust Diane, Marvin replies, "I can trust her about as far as I can throw her."

NATALIE JOINS WILL WITH PREDICTABLE RESULTS

Will continues living the life of luxury, solo in the sun. Next thing he knows, it's pouring rain and he's sure it is an omen. He's right, because Natalie has arrived at the Jury House. Natalie gives Will a big hug and he reciprocates, though not without crossing his fingers. He later opens a bottle of champagne and admits he wouldn't have minded if it the cork hit her in the eye.

NOMINEES SPEAK THEIR PIECE

Julie offers Michael and Adria one last chance to get a vote or two. Michael repeats the same refrain from last week and thanks all the HouseGuests. Adria continues to toe her own personal party line, saying that she has been true to her commitments--a veiled reference to Diane and Drew and their short-lived alliance--and hopes that those people will hold true to theirs. With that, the Live Vote begins.

It's a quick unanimous vote against Adria, with Nakomis holding up her pinky (recalling the pinky swear Adria betrayed) to the camera as a reminder of why she is voting Adria out.

ADRIA FIRES BACK ON HER WAY OUT

Just before exiting the front door, Adria takes a stand, going off on her former housemates, naming names and claiming that as Jury members, she and Natalie will be voting as a bloc. Marvin can't handle it and reminds Adria that she wanted to be thought of as an individual, but speaks as a group.

In the aftermath, we see Marvin talking about Adria's "sanctimonious" and "pompous" ways. Adria walks to her interview with Julie and continues to say she is simply playing the game as best she can, being true to herself. In a move that may have ramifications for the future of the game, Adria declares she is for Cowboy, Karen and Drew. She also reveals that it may have been "the coach in her" that was pushing Karen and Drew, thinking she could draw something out of them, an inner fire that she knew was there, but that had not yet come to the surface.

HoH COMPETITION: CHEMICAL REACTION

Before the HouseGuests can digest what's gone down, they are on to the Head of Household Competition, Chemical Reaction. The remaining HouseGuests, save outgoing HoH Marvin, stand atop a set of stairs. Before them are two flasks and a beaker all filled with fluid. Julie ask a question, and then each HouseGuest chooses either a TRUE or FALSE flask to pour into the beaker. If the liquid in the beaker turns blue, they have answered correctly. If the beaker's liquid is clear, they are out of the game. The HouseGuests are asked a series of questions about previous Competitions and the circumstances surrounding them. Drew emerges victorious, winning HoH for the second time.

DOUBLE EVICTION WEEK

As usual, Julie asks Drew how it feels to be HoH. He says he's psyched for the week. Julie then informs him that it will really be only 48 hours as this is a double eviction week, and there will be a Nomination Ceremony taking place live TONIGHT on the 24/7 video feed at CBS.com

How will Drew deal with the pressure of having to nominate two HouseGuests so quickly? Who will put in the hard campaign to sway Drew's decision? Find out Saturday at 9PM ET/PT on a special hour of BIG BROTHER 5.
