News update:
Is not sure that the show will air tonight due to some financial problems.
This situation started last year when Marcelo Tinelli sold his company Ideas del Sur (that produces the show) to the group Indalo (who owns a pool of radios, newspapers and TV channels). Things is that with the change of the goverment was revealed that the owners of Indalo (who were politically aligned with the previous goverment) didn't pay around u$s 500 million in federal taxes - what is a federal crime - and used that money to buy part of the media companies (including Marcelo Tinelli's). A federal judge issued an embargo over all the assets of the company and the owners to cover the huge debt, and the owners are trying to get the judge authorization to sell each company (as a whole pool or individually) to cancel the debt. This has a consecuence: all the employees, journalist, tv crew, etc., are not collecting their salaries on time; and Showmatch staff has, to the date, a four month debt. So if they're not cancelling part of what is owed, they have decided not to work tonight.
