The Amazing Race Australia 4: Destination Wishlist
« on: July 02, 2016, 01:32:17 AM »
There hasn't been any official announcements for TARA4, but if there was, where would like it to go? Here is my Wishlist:
Leg 1: Adelaide-Auckland, New Zealand. (Starting Line: Victoria Square)
Leg 2: Queenstown, New Zealand. (One Route Info would be jumping off the Nevis Highwire Platform)
Leg 3: Queenstown, New Zealand-Honolulu, United States
Leg 4: New York City, United States.
Leg 5: New York City, United States-Ottawa, Canada.
Leg 6: Ottawa, Canada-Moscow, Russia.
Leg 7: St Petersburg, Russia.
Leg 8: St Petersburg, Russia-Berlin, Germany.
Leg 9: Berlin, Germany-Paris, France.
Leg 10: Paris, France-Marseille, France.
Leg 11: Marseille, France-London, England.
Leg 12: London, England-Hong Kong, China-Hobart, Tasmania (Finish Line: Port Arthur)

I know I have heaps of European legs, but please suggest your own in the comments below

What would the NEL penatly? Go back to the old if you don't come first, it's a 30 minute, keep as a Speed Bump, or would be a new one? I would say keep it as the Speed Bump. What do you guys think?

Handicap might be the best penalty, team who faced a handicap completes same task (usually ARI task) with other teams, but with higher requirement

Or, it could be a Hazard, like what happened in TAR19, where one person out of Kaylani and Lisa, had to jump in the shopping centre.

Posted this on the main wishlist thread after finishing all 3 seasons of TAR Aus:

TAR Australia (& Oceania) 4 Route Wishlist:

Leg 1:Tasmania, Australia-->Bora Bora, French PolynesiaF11NEL
Leg 2:Bora Bora, French Polynesia-->Acapulco, MexicoF11EL
Leg 3:Acapulco, Mexico-->Amazon, BrazilF10EL
Leg 4:Amazon, Brazil-->Santiago, ChileF9ML
Leg 5:Santiago, Chile-->Dublin, IrelandF9EL
Leg 6:Dublin, Ireland-->Rome --> Naples, ItalyF8EL
Leg 7:Naples, Italy-->Athens, GreeceF7EL
Leg 8:Athens, Greece-->Sahara, EgyptF6ML
Leg 9:Sahara, Egypt-->Western Sahara, MoroccoF6EL
Leg 10:Sahara, Egypt-->Tbilisi, GeorgiaF5NEL
Leg 11:Tbilisi, Georgia-->Osaka, JapanF5EL
Leg 12:Osaka, Japan-->Seoul, South KoreaF4EL
Leg 12:Seoul --> Busan, South Korea-->Brisbane, AustraliaF4EL

Besides the home country and France (but it was Mainland France back then), all the countries have not been visited by TAR Australia. (With the budget though, I don't think having 6 continents is possible.) The countries I've selected are countries that I think have different sceneries and cultures compared to the ones visited in the 3 seasons of TAR Australia.

I love handicap most, unlike speedbump there was no specifical task for penalized team, instead they complete same tasks with other teams but one of them has higher requirement to complete (might include Auto U-turn or Double RB)
Would ActiveTV still have the right to produce the amazing race in asia/pacific versions
