I'd expect them to be on VN414 (1025-1635) or KE480 (1220-1840) on 30 Jun from Hanoi to Incheon.

Looks like an evening leg in Seoul. If they were connecting to a different part of Korea production would release them for an earlier flight such as VN416 (2340-0550) so that they could race in daytime.

The last Pit Stop is always relatively short. (TAR 27 had ~17h, TAR 28 had ~10h.) Expect them to depart Korea on 1 Jul, crossing the international date line to be back in the US by 1 Jul. Seoul has direct connections to plenty of US cities, including Anchorage, New York, Detroit, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Honolulu.

Possibility 5 - 1 leg in São Paulo, 1 leg in Africa, 1 leg in Zanzibar
13 Jun: Leg 2 in São Paulo
14 Jun: Hop on a flight at 6:00pm via Johannesburg...
15 Jun: ...to somewhere in Africa, arriving in the morning or early afternoon. Leg 3 there.
16 Jun: Hop on a flight to Zanzibar. Leg 5 4 in Zanzibar.
After eliminating the other possibilities, this option seems the most likely. Legs on back-to-back calendar days do not cover much distance (e.g. Cartagena I-II, Chamonix I-II, Yerevan-Tbilisi, Bali I-II), so expect Leg 4 to be either Johannesburg or Dar es Salaam.

Possibility 5 (with Dar es Salaam) is the winner!

There was a 36 hour PitStop between VietNam 2 and Korea.

There was a 36 hour PitStop between VietNam 2 and Korea.

In that case I get the last leg dates to:
25th teams are released from Athens
26th teams are flying to Hanoi
27th teams arrive and race in Hanoi
28th teams travel to and race in Ninh Binh, they check in in the afternoon
29th rest day (Matt & Redmond are released in the last few minutes)
30th teams fly to and race through Seoul, they chink in close to or after midnight
1st rest day
2nd travel to and race in Chicago

I don't believe there was a rest day after Seoul.

I don't believe there was a rest day after Seoul.

In that case the pit stop must have been very short since they checked in around or after midnight an the flight to Chicago left at 10:40.

Phil emphasised at the pit stop that the final 3 should rest because the next leg was gonna be hard. So I figure this could actually be true..?

I think there's a rest day (July 1 Korea Standard Time or KST) after the Seoul leg because teams were sighted in Chicago (July 2 US CDT) and we would saw F3 racing on July 1 (US CDT) instead if they have a very short rest. Not to mention the rest day means Phil and production have a whole day head start fly to Chicago.

I'll ask again but...The racers confirmed 36 hours in VietNam. But also said NO REST DAY after Seoul.

Are we missing a time change somewhere?

The only confusing thing is the flight to Chicago which crosses the international dateline so it actually lands before it started  :)  That is it leaves 10:40 from Seoul and lands at 09:40 the same day in Chicago. So if racers were racing in Chicago on the 2nd then they left Seoul on the 2nd as well.

We had sightings in Hanoi on the 27th so that date is fairly certain.

I wonder if there was some hiccup in planning? Teams arrived in Dar es Salaam on the evening of 15 Jun, but the newspapers they were looking through were from the day before, 14 Jun.
