2 consecutive legs without a Detour. Can't see the finale having one, either, they haven't done that since the old days of TAR.

Budget is showing a little there :P

It may be budget-related, but it definitely gives me an old TAR feel, IDK why. Not complaining either since both legs were still amazing on their own even without a Detour.

I've got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined
I check it once, then I check it twice (oh)"

That would be because the Chicago leg was like the second half of all finale legs pre-12, in wh¡ch teams did the major asks in another location, had a mid-leg flight and did nothing but  scavenger hunt type tasks in the last destination
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I don't think a leg has to have official detour or roadblock to be a leg
I think the Chicago did have major tasks like an ordinary leg even though it doesn't have an official detour or roadblock (speedway task + memory task)

The racing task was like a double raodblock in itself.
Teams said it only took them 5-15 minutes to complete the speed stacking in Korea, and the two-sided racing task was definitely at least that.

Vanck & Ashton were pretty great to watch and it was really interesting to have such an oddball combo tbh.

Ashton came off as being really rude towards Vanck. I wish I could see moments where Vanck would have a go at Ashton, if there were any.

Maybe Vanck is the one that needs a lesson on kindness

I agree that SOMETIMES Ashton seems a little like a jerk, but most of the time, she was like any other racer on the series (expect Brooke)
