Their cancer pity party was the least of the reasons why they were a horrible team. I think their hateful and hypocritical attitudes during TAR24 (which really shouldn't exist in the first place) are more horrible and deserving of criticism. Among many other things.
And I'll bring this topic back on track while still making my point. It is very interesting to include them out of any other team when they really were universally disliked or hated by both diehard, message board visiting fans and the Facebook casuals. Bopper and Mark? Easy choice. Margie & Luke? Can be argued for. Dave & Connor? I'd actually be less annoyed if it were the Cowboys because at least we know Bertram and Co or CBS love them with all their hearts, a sentiment shared by the casuals who want to see them Race until they win.
Basically, I'm bitching about how out of touch Bertram and Co and CBS apparently are with the audience to feel the need to include a widely disliked team as one of the very first things you see on a do or die, make or break season premiere. So it is very easy to see why TAR is in the position it is in right now.
