I'm actually sold on this one. It is a pick that could cost you a million dollars or win a million dollars. Definitely different from Survivor's Schoolyard Pick.

If TAR goes to 8 PM Thursday, it would be replacing Big Bang Theory and the new comedy Great Indoors. Not likely. Especially after CBS went to the trouble of setting up a night of comedy. Sticking TAR in the middle of that would be weird. They certainly aren't cancelling shows before the season even starts.

If TAR goes to 8PM Thursday, it would be replacing Big Bang Theory and the new comedy Great Indoors. Not likely. Especially after CBS went to the trouble of setting up a night of comedy. Sticking TAR in the middle of that would be weird.

If Big Bang goes to midseason though, it may be reruns as TBBT would be on break. TAR could easily fit in like how Survivor leads off a night of Procedurals on Wednesday.

Also I'm kind of neutral about Panama. It's definitely nice because we've never started there, but at the same time, the TAR19 leg wasn't really memorable aside from the cryptic pre-Pit Stop clue and the TAR8 Panama leg was generally eh but elevated by the Weaver van meltdown + Tammy Gaghan getting slammed into the van by Carissa + Paolo Fast Forward.

As much as I'd like that to happen, I expect that reruns of Big Bang Theory would do better in the ratings than TAR (and most other shows on CBS).

It's speculative as CBS will start the season, as it did last season, with 8 weeks or so of NFL Thursday Night Football before NBC gets the other 8. CBS may have other changes to make not foreseen at the May upfronts, and that may determine when TAR 29 airs as to night and time and what week that would start.

I really like how the racers that will be picking will have to base their choices on first impressions. It's a cool and interesting twist!

Even though I like the SLT twist, I'm not as excited for the cast (yet). Twist and route are good so far, though. Currently, I'm only half-excited.

At least the MM and FF are equal. When I saw it was a Schoolyard pick, I knew a lot of boys would pick hot girls and the same for the girs with boys. I hope there's any old racer (If there's any, I bet it was the last picked).
