Some Observations:



I noticed that there are flags to the other two ropes but only Dana & Matt are there... either they are 1st or 3rd at this point.



There is a rope right next to Tyler (looks like two but its definitely a shadow considering the positions in contrast to the picture with Dana). They seem to be definitely second at this point.



Could this be the Final Memory Task (Roadblock) at the Vineyards?

Good eye! Or maybe all 3 ropes are part of that teams task?? Note the horizontal one as well. They look awfully close to each other to be for each team from this angle, I wouldn't want to rappel that close to someone else.

For what it's worth, Tyler looks like he fails at least once. His hands are nowhere near the clue.





Individual setups for the mountaineering also seem likely, the guy beside the team member in black (Matt or Korey?) has matching clothes with the ones assisting Sheri.

I don't think that's a racer - we know Matt does the horizontal and is wearing white and Korey (and everyone else) is wearing shorts.

Remember that there is a "synchronized" task where BOTH team members will be climbing/rappelling/roping /whatever.

Rattlesnake canyon might have two rope tasks, we  don't know.  The upside down (Cole) is diff from the rappel, but are they linked?? 

Two people also reported a "zipline" but that could have been the horizontal ropes.

My guess is rappel is different, horizontal is part of the synchronized one.

So, spelling the names of the cities they have traveled is the momory task? 
I think Sheri and Cole will win. They have very positive edit since episode 1. Last leg, when they arrived at the pit stop, i felt it was winning moment, and the editor also played TAR intro. I don't know if everyone felt the same

Out of all the names, I think Chamonix, Tbilisi, and Denpasar would be the most difficult for them.

They must have seen them spelt a number of times in airports, the actual cities, etc. so it doesn't seem like a hard task at all to me

I think it will be more like a puzzle to place the barrels in one way so all the words are shown. Sort of like the season 23 final task

They should have made it become spell out the name of Pit Stop or something if they really want team to spell things out. That would be a bit more difficult.

The tasks this don't require much teamwork imo. 2 RBs, and the mountaineering task has teams doing things separately. The only task teams do together is rowing a boat? Kind of odd imo.

I do think this season results will depend on the memory task. Just like Season 25.

I didn't expect it as well. Dana did amazing in the final challenge though, so I was fine with them winning.

Still a complete surprise though . Usually I assume that the team that is edited in a negative light does not win, but it's great that I got surprised!

P.S: I was originally rooting for the mom son team and secondly for the dancers but Tyler and his BF started to show some very unlikable traits especially toward the ending of the season that is why being third was better news than mom son team wining to me.

Finale was ok but too linear.

Honestly, I don't see TAR lasting very long after this finale ( season 30 could very well be the last season). Season 24 and the move to Fridays really hindered tar's success imo. ( plus overuse of twist seasons and lack of good leg designs).

As a TAR purist, I'd rather have a cast with regular people on the race but with a few prominent names (like Season's 22 or 25's). At this rate I don't think moving to Sundays would do much. CBS actually just cancelled almost its entire Sunday lineup and TAR actually outrated a lot of the shows this Sunday with its finale.

The best thing we can hope for is STABILITY and a BETTER BUDGET. I know for sure I would love to see more self-driving/no budget cutting (I'm looking at you, TAR27's U-Turns and Lack of proper Speed Bumps).
