You are welcome! A lot of great stuff tonight. Indonesia legs in TAR U.S. are no longer a topic of feared race design. :colors

Bakso is made with beef -- not goat meat, as Sherri & Cole speculated. The snakes were pythons, not cobras. I wish Kurt could stay and only Brodie would be eliminated in the future. Kurt is a survivor of stage 3 colon cancer and had almost all of his colon removed. https://06880danwoog.com/2016/02/22/kurt-gibsons-amazing-race/

Just watched this episode and LOVE it so much!!!
All tasks are great and both roadblock difficult, it seems back to the old TAR days where the tasks are really hard tasks where you cannot get help and only have to do it yourself!

Zach and Rachel are great, they do have a fair competition and cannot catch up. Would miss them.

Burnie and Ashley got 2nd again, I do want them win a leg and felt sad that them being passed by Korey in the end, but at least not due to anyone's mistake. Hope they can get win next leg (from the preview it seems like they are not behind, so there is chance).

Surprising all teams do not discuss the Express Pass question in public, the choice to use it for the puzzle still puzzles me, it does not look that difficult or time consuming for that one.

I enjoyed the leg. But why bunch them all up at different departure times?  (:;)

It would have been so much more fun if everyone was side-by-side :(

Sheri & Cole are still great and with Scott/Blair gone (RIP Angels :torche), they are my ride or die now. <3

Zach & Rachel was painful to lose =/ They were really invisible throughout, but somehow they were really low-key fun? I will miss them.

Dana & Matt were so quiet this leg lol.

Brodie & Kurt are definitely better now that I can deal with Brodie's loudness as enthusiasm + Kurt's cancer arc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dave lol.

Burnie & Ashley, the constant second place sucks but IDK. I am really meh on them overall.

And Tyler & Korey, the lesser said the better. :res: I hope they lose or GTFO soon. What season-ruiners, and the fact that production seems to love them... :res:

As a Balinese, i'm glad the tasks represent the daily life and culture of Balinese people  :)
I love 2 roadblocks in one episode because all team members have to perform the task. This leg is much better than Bali leg season 22, and probably the best Indonesian leg. Both roadblocks definitely not easy, i feel bad for Rachel because she against men at the salt roadblock, but kudos she didn't give up.

The things that bothers me was the editing, when suddenly Brodie become so weak and Kurt is the hero in their team out of nowhere. And they reveal that Kurt is a cancer survivor, totally different treatment compared to Dave & Connor who always given highlight about their cancer each episode in season 22. Dana and Matt also invincible after their meltdown last episode.

They play up the most to the cameras with their random commentary and puns + one-liners + etc.

But yeah, them over Justin

The pitstop is awesome!  :hearts:
Anyway is it the first moving pitstop? I don't recall a moving pitstop the past seasons... Some pitstops are near the ships, but I don't recall inside the ship.

i really enjoyed this leg so much

cool locations, cool task, cool ending. ..

the RBs were really great and really blended with Bali's culture

i really like the idea of rowing to the pit stop at Pinisi (TAR 15 had a pitstop in the ship but instead they were running through) and having walking the plank for the eliminated team was really entertaining tbh

and the editing was great... Zach and Rachel :(
Burnie and Ashley tbh deserved a first place win...
and i kinda ok now with the Brodie/Kurt and Tyler/Korey editing
what might have been

The Route Info task was alright. I would never be able to do that snake portion of the task.

Both Roadblocks were good (a rarity for Double Roadblock legs, I think!), yet I still feel like the episode was lacking? Can't put my finger on it.

Zach & Rachel were so under-the-radar/quiet yet fun at the same time. I believe that they didn't consider Zach for the Salt Roadblock because (1) Zach's already done 5 and (2) obviously they didn't know it was going to be a Double Roadblock leg. So I think their mistake was having Zach do the Puzzle Roadblock last leg.

Sheri & Cole are my favorite team left. Sheri always acts weak but she's clearly not. Never understood the hate for Cole. He is nowhere near the level of Joey Graceffa imo.

Burnie & Ashley have been disliked for some time now and I can't understand why.. they're so inoffensive. They're extremely focused and can be fun at the same time. They need to get a 1st.

Dana & Matt seriously have the weirdest edit in years. Such a rollercoaster. I hate that when there's no negativity to show (I'm assuming), the editors refuse to show any positivity (unless there's none... ) and keep their edit to a minimum of "Good job, baby." I guess they were in the middle of the pack all leg and didn't really struggle (similar to Zach & Rachel's edit for basically the whole Race).

Tyler & Korey aren't my cup of tea (humor wise) but they're not offensive at all imo. Still nowhere near as bad as Joey. They work really well together, probably the best of the batch.

Brodie & Kurt took an interesting fall this week. I started noticing a few legs back that Kurt was clearly the stronger one of the two and it was nice to see that addressed here. So yeah, I don't like Brodie.

Team Averages:
2.33 Brodie & Kurt
2.67 Tyler & Korey
3.33 Burnie & Ashley
3.56 Dana & Matt
4.67 Zach & Rachel
6.44 Sheri & Cole

Before I read anything in this thread…

I'm impressed that TAR28 is not having short intros yet.

I like both roadblocks. They require lots of effort, and they are difficult and cultural. The 2nd roadblock was beautiful. :luvya: I think all the tasks this leg are cultural, with the snakes, and even the fruit offerings that we've seen in TAR22. :hrt:

I would also consider the speedbump good, since it is time-consuming and difficult. I'm glad Sheri & Cole got 3rd despite the speedbump's difficulty.

I like how only no one else knows the status of Brodie & Kurt's EP, except the team themselves and Burnie & Ashley. I now think they wasted the EP, but for a strong team like them, it's interesting to see them fight for last.

I would consider the leg very physical. An all-female team might have trouble this leg if they make it this far. :ascared The leg, though, feels very short. It's probably the leg design. ???

Burnie & Ashley are becoming the Kelsey & Joey of the season. :( What's worse is that they were so robbed in Leg 4 with the awful leg design at the end.

Brodie is good with title quotes :haha but not with roadblocks, apparently. I've booted out a team in my fanfic for showing weakness in roadblocks. It'd be such a shame if this becomes their downfall. They ran a good race overall, but towards the end, it seems like they're falling. They were 1st at the start of the leg, even at the end of the ARI, but all it took were those roadblocks, and the loss of their EP. At least it's interesting to see frontrunners like them fall behind and fight for last. :ascared

Zach & Rachel were likable, and it's quite sad to see them go. :( They have such an epic exit. I wouldn't mind seeing this team back for another season. :hrt:

Since I'm currently watching TAR Aus 1, I realized that the music affects all the suspense edits, funny ones, etc. Did TAR replace their old musician, or was he just told to make new ones? :ascared

With the W-turn next leg, and a 2nd leg in Indonesia, I'm speculating that the leg will be linear. Also with Brodie & Kurt's time gap with the rest of the teams, I can see them getting screwed by the W-turn. After all, it'd be wise to U-turn a strong team who is behind everyone else. :snicker:

I enjoyed the leg. But why bunch them all up at different departure times?  (:;)

It would have been so much more fun if everyone was side-by-side :(

That would've given Zach & Rachel a chance. :( It really would've been more fun to have all the teams start together.

I feel the same! :ascared I'm not sure if it was the leg design. ???

Dana & Matt seriously have the weirdest edit in years. Such a rollercoaster. It's sad for them to get such an edit. :( Why are the editors only showing their negative side!? (:;)

Oh geez, any updaters? :ascared If I must, I can do it, but the quality will be absolutely cow manure.
It was far from that! Great job! :conf:
