Dana & Matt are officially GLAM tier.
I'd rather walk alone than let them throw dirty confetti. ♥

We had a similar preview scenario with the unaired zipline task in season 23 during Leg 2.

We're back.

Dana & Matt continue arguing.

Matt: We're a team, let's work together.
Dana: No. Can you handle letting me navigate?

Sheri & Cole are running out of the Water Park.

Zach & Rachel are Team Number Four. Dana & Matt are Team Number Five.

Sheri & Cole are last but it's a non-elimination leg!

I wonder when did that occur, before the RB?

Leg was meh as an episode.

Dana & Matt lmao <3 So randomly positive then popping in as ten times more negative on their next scenes  <3

Sheri is still amazing, Zach & Rachel are still low-key fun.

Brodie & Kurt is eh this leg and so was Burnie & Ashley.

And Tyler still sucks :res:

This is the first episode I actually disliked Tyler & Korey I think..
Like, they are always edited so positively that it becomes annoying and they're presented as one-dimensional... :/ But the edit is most likely just intended to attract their fans to TAR.

I REALLY enjoyed this leg tbh! AMAZING tasks :<3
G'night everyone... :)

I only saw the last 10 minutes. I purposely missed most of the episode mainly because F6 NEL's are, for some reason, always boring/not as good (23, 25, 26 come to mind).

What I saw was actually good though though? I last read Peach's comment about Dana's edit getting better and of course, I turn on the show when Dana and Matt explode  I used to feel bad for her edit, but there's no way that argument was """editing""" (she was YELLING)... but it's actually refreshing? Especially when this cast has been too friendly.

I loved the transition to night (and some suspenseful music--finally!) and just showing Dana & Matt walking in slowly and defeated.

Really nice leg! I loved that episode, specially because of the NEL! I absolutely adore Sheri & Cole, I don't want them to leave.
I don't like when Dana & Matt have that attitude. If they were nice with each other the race would be so much better for them.
As always praying for Tyler & Korey to be eliminated but this time was impossible. xD
I would have loved to see Burnie & Ashley beating Brodie & Kurt on the boat race. They deserve a win.
I also think Brodie & Kurt have wasted the EP. If you are in the first position, and you only have a puzzle, try a little bit more... I would only use it to save my ass and not to be eliminated if I'm on the last positions, not just to win a leg already being in first position.

I see Rachel is going to have some probems next week with the RB, I hope they survive, they are one of my favorite teams! ;(

One of the women, I think it was Rachel, wore a one-piece suit. Does that mean they didn't have to wear the skimpy gold ones if they had their own bathing suit?

Before I read any post in this thread…

I like this leg mainly because of the desert scenery and self-driving with the drama. :conf: The roadblock was a bit meh yet challenging, but the detour was also challenging yet more exciting, with the balance of a slowly but surely task versus a race between the fast and the furious. :grins:

I miss self-driving! :<3 Glad to have it back, at least for this 1 leg. I've seen enough drama from the self-driving, with Sheri & Cole getting lost, Zach & Rachel missing the detour location, Matt & Dana bickering over directions, and more! :cheer: This element of the leg (and supposedly the race) made it really entertaining. :hearts: The mention of the twisty-turny roads in Dubai reminded me of TAR Aus 2 when 1 team wasn't able to check-in because of that. :ascared I think self-driving in Dubai would've been more entertaining with more teams, too bad having 10 to 11 teams in Dubai is unrealistic and incompatible with the route. :( Still, I enjoyed the self-driving element this leg. :trampb:

The scenery of the desert, the Aqua Adventure, and the city was amazing! :colors I really like seeing the desert again after a season without it. :luvya:

The "switchback" on the infamous location made me remember what a waste it was for Mika & Canaan. :ascared The roadblock there was a bit boring, but it was challenging enough to make impatient Brodie use the EP. I'm glad Brodie & Kurt didn't use the EP on the deadline leg, because that would've been very lame and offending for the EP's existence. The usage of the EP on a puzzle task like this reminded me of how the EP was used during TARPh1 - It looked like an "easy" task. At least Brodie & Kurt's usage of the EP got them a 1st, but I'm still disappointed how Burnie & Ashley were robbed of 1st place for the 3rd time this season. :tantrum

Dana being fiery I don't think is just on her edit. I think it's the real her from the way she describes herself in confessionals. At least I find Dana & Matt's bickering more amusing and entertaining than Logan & Chris's.

The difference with Brodie & Kurt winning is at least they are inconsistent with it, even though they have proven themselves to be a strong team. Justin & Diana's 5 straight finishes last season somewhat ruined it.

I see Sheri & Cole as the new underdogs now that Scott & Blair are gone. Their last this time was very expected and anti-climactic, unlike the one in Armenia wherein they lost a lead with a drop from 2nd to 7th.

I may like the scenery and self-driving + drama this leg, but I find this leg rather anti-climactic and less overwhelming. I think having more teams this leg would've made the episode better. I'd rather have NEL's earlier in the race because more teams would be left towards the end of the race. The race would be more exciting that way in my opinion. This leg's pit stop finish has been the most anti-climactic for the whole season, but then no one can fully control having a very suspenseful ending every leg. Overall, this leg is still good! :hoot:

Brodie & Kurt definitely didn't WASTE their EP, because they've now won a trip because of using it and wouldn't have won it otherwise. I wouldn't use an EP in such a way bearing in mind that I might fall to last next leg and need it more, but that's just their strategy and confidence. We'll see whether it bites them in their butts or not. :)

I used to feel bad for her edit, but there's no way that argument was """editing""" (she was YELLING)... but it's actually refreshing? Especially when this cast has been too friendly.
Ha, I feel the same! I felt bad in the beginning of the season, but now I just find it entertaining and hilarious  Love my dancers <3

I'm glad Brodie & Kurt didn't use the EP on the deadline leg, because that would've been very lame and offending for the EP's existence.
Or just... strategic?

P.S. are you bipolar?

What I meant was some teams who had the EP used it on the deadline leg (commonly Leg 8 ). This caused the EP to be invisible for that season. I know some teams don't really want or have to use the EP before the deadline leg, but the EP suffers invisibility and a certain "uselessness" when it's used on deadline legs. That's why I feared the day the EP would disappear from TAR, which I thought was this season but apparently was not. You get me?

just re-watched... (actually i streamed but the internet sucked)

well, it's fun leg still, but less exciting than last leg... detour was great which sides had pro and cons that structured well and connected to UEA relevance, Camel...

The RB was kinda boring tbh, but indeed it was challenging..  enough to make Brodie and Kurt wasted their EP

the semi-throwback, including a montage of Mika's struggle at Slide was good...

self-driving leg never dissapointing me, Dana and Matt was the victim, so was Sheri and Cole...

about the editing... well it was less intense, but Dana and Matt editing, including their bickering was adding flavour to this leg so i like it... overall all team  editing was good except Tyler/Korey's
what might have been
