They had less of a tie to Asia than any of the teams cast, at least.

Why would they pair up Criss and Nhat Anh? Just cast Nhat Anh & Ngoc Anh, they were great.

Were all three previous winning teams at the finish line? I saw 1 and 4's winners there.

Oh, and in response to the person who commented on several legs having the same placements, to be fair to the season the placements shifted in many of those legs and only turned out like that at the end.

They had at least a small connection to the country (even Andy & Laura and Sandy & Fran  :funny:), and the Filipinos were at least quarter-blood.

Criss and Nhat Anh are friend out of the race. Nhat Anh are Criss's instruction when Criss learned diving.

I actually was rooting for Huong Giang & Criss to win  but ya this season was overall very underwhelming; hopefully TAR Vietnam can return to their form last season next year

idk how to feel about TAR Vietnam - TAR Asia crossovers
I'm baaaaaack!

I really appreciate VTV and TAR Vietnam for making their episodes available to the world on their YouTube channel.  :hearts:  It's so encouraging and makes you want to watch even though I really don't understand a single bit of Vietnamese.

This unlike other TARs that almost make a point to make their episodes unavailable and inaccessible to people who actually want to watch. Looking at you TV5 and TAR Philippines.

By the way, a record was set :D Lincoln & Tien Dat (1.64) overtake Rachel & Dave (1.83) as the highest-averaging winner ever.

Vietnam's produced a couple of strong winners. The diving coaches from last season were in a great position to do it if they hadn't gotten dinged on a couple of legs.

I remember talk of some TAR Vietnam teams auditioning for TARA5 and indeed a team apparently did audition, but not who was mentioned earlier.

This new TARA promo shows...

LINCOLN and TRANG!
(Same Trang from TARV4, right?)

That would be funny and cool if they did get cast. Lincoln with his 3rd partner, yes? hehe

Many of them did audition. They weren't shown in those highlight though.

Well with not much else to do today...almost got those Vietnam 5 Wikipedia leg summaries done at long last! Moved on to that long neglected page today right after finishing the last 3 legs of TAR China 4.

9 of 11 legs written, 2 to go. But my energy tank is running on empty for tonight.

You're very welcome :)

Was just going through the #amazingrace tag for TAR30 sightings on Instagram, and noticed this one - https://websta.me/p/1629861053507893246_1095700101

An ID card with the TAR Vietnam logo and "2017" on it. And below is "Ha Noi 25/10/2017".

Coming back for a Season 6, possibly starting in 5 days, it sounds like? The Asian versions are of course significantly more lax on NDA than others, so this wouldn't be too surprising.

Most likely starting to film on the 25th, as per Maanca. :)

I wonder if they will stay in Vietnam, or go out of the country?

Ah, yeah. Now that you mention it, that is a 15, not a 25. So it would have already begun.

I thought my eyes were perfect
