I don't understand, this season has been great, and I think it's way better than season 27. Maybe Sundays were a better option. :(
Casuals REALLY hate this cast (I'm sure you already knew that though :p)

I agree, this has been way better than TAR 27 :(

Not surprise at all. I love CBS reality trio. But while I'm still waiting every week to watch Survivor and Big Brother, I watch the Race because it's just the show that I used to love.
I think the problem is not because it's not on Sunday. This show's still good if it can deliver 1.2 or 1.3 each episode on Friday. The casts and challenges make people lose their interests. I guess the social influencers don't influence people as much as they thought, huh.

At this rate, it's no excuse. We need Sundays back or else we're not gonna make it another year.

With some CBS shows is ending this year, could this mean move of time slot for TAR?

Good news, but still a season low.

Which is also a series low as well, of course.

Nope. The TAR25 Singapore Episode remains a series low, both for viewers and the 18-49 share.

Lowest rated episode, viewer wise, was still TAR26's Africa two-parter.

Really? I loved the Africa episode, a favorite! ???

Just remember that these ratings are not as important as they used to be. 7 day ratings including delayed watching play a more important role. But the bottom line is sponsors.

TAR is a staple, I think we are good for now in any time slot, and I have hopes for a better one!

I think a show they know has done well enough for many many years is gonna be on their keep list. Changing it up there are risks and unlikely anything will ever have the longevity of their RTV trio

Well, it's still a series low if it ties the record.  And the TAR25 Singapore Leg aired Thanksgiving weekend..

We'll find out when CBS announces the schedule later in the year. Fingers crossed it's back to Sundays.

If not.... I don't think we'll be able to survive past 30 :(

Dubai adjusted to a 1.5 via DVR... barely there but still in the Top 25 DVR boosts.

50% boost in adults 18-49 and 29% boost in overall viewers. Not bad but it's the lowest rated amongst the CBS Friday shows.

Also I've been analysing Sunday ratings and wow they are down by a lot.

The highest it hits now is a 1.6 and that's Little Big Shots on NBC. Everything else is either fractional or 1.0-1.2 only.

It's almost as dead as Fridays. Would TAR get much higher ratings if it had that football lead-in if we were moved back to Sundays? It's certainly a possibility.

Wednesdays after Survivor is a big no-no though. Up against Empire and Modern Family... It's gonna get murdered there.

Our best hope for Sundays would be after Good Wife is done, assume Madame President moves to 9PM and we could be the 8PM lead in in that slot.

How does that look?

That would actually be decent! I think what a good strategy for CBS would be to test out the fall season (29) on Sundays first for a few weeks like they did Undercover Boss this season move it to Fridays and then check the numbers.

I have heard chatter that Undercover Boss might be headed back to Sundays, and if they go then TAR moves too I would think.

There is a new political drama produced by the same makers of The Good Wife called "Brain Dead" starting in the summer (writing sounds cringe-inducing from the promotion in my opinion), and knowing long-running dramas always airs on Sunday primetime, I see Brain Dead in the Sunday schedule after a Madam Secr. episode and Undercover Boss airing its seasonal run on Fridays after TAR28 wraps up.
