20 people, I hope it is 4/5 tribes which would be megaglam. I don't rly like 2tribes of 10 cause they easily make people Invisible; if there is 4 or 5 tribes, more people can appear due to being smaller groups of people.

I don't like a political themed Survivor because the show shouldn't be about that imho. Moreover, it will make people bond easily just based in their political thoughts, which is hard to fight against, thus giving benefits to alliances, and making people not going to flip flop that much. I want game, and I think that option may kill all the strategy, I am NOT a fan.

+1 for everything.

I prefer 4 tribes of 5 rather than just 2 of 10.

And I'm 100% with you on the theme. I want a Survivor season with just no theme. Just split the people in tribes and let the game begin. I'm also not a fan of the political theme. It puts Survivor in a spot that I don't like, and I see a lot of future criticism on this season and on some contestants based on their political thoughts.

Survivor Palau had 20 contestants: 1 guy and girl weren't picked by tribes and had to leave.
This upcoming season has 20 contestants..... Just a theory, not proven at all.

i think 4/5 tribe is too many. Production need more space to make tribe challenge and it will be difficult for Jeff to see the progress of each tribe

I didn't like that. It was the most unfair thing ever. We can lose some great contestants by that damn pick thing.

And that season didn't even have a "merge". It was just... "Okay, you're left on this tribe. Join the other one."

Yeah keeping them in 3 tribes but shuffling would make alliances a mess come the merge, all the more exciting for us.

I wonder if religion might play a part in the theme. Seems like there's an awful lot of faith-based professions in the mix (pastor, missionary, etc) and it seems just tasteless and radical enough to attract the Probst.

Sample voice-over: "Will the faith tribe be assisted by Jesus in their quest for the million? Or will stone-cold rational atheism and agnosticism allow the pagan tribe to outwit their way to the end?"
